Three stars because while the store has an impressive selection of Caribbean items I haven’t seen elsewhere, my experience was ruined by an uncomfortable encounter with another customer. A man repeatedly followed me around, harassing me for my number and offering to “take care of me” despite me saying no multiple times. I understand the store can’t control the behavior of others, but I didn’t like it at all. On top of that, there were also some male workers making comments...
I love this location. They have a lot of fresh food, fresh meats, and a lot of Caribbean items that you cannot find in other stores. Also, the gentleman at the back that deals with the meat by the name of Abdi is so friendly and so kind. He has a beautiful smile and amazing customer service.
Although small, this place surprised me with having a few hard to find items. This was my first time going there and I will be returning for future needs of these hard to find items. Thank you Danforth Food Market ??
