An absolute knock out experience for a birthday/ Christmas family get together. We had booked a private room with Peter as our wait staff and he was phenomenal, the service he provided was out of this world and felt very intimate and catered to our group. I have come to the Duncan house for about 17 years now but never booked a private room. Wonderful experience. Thank you

We booked a private room to celebrate our parents wedding anniversary. Booking through Rita was effortless and she responded to all emails within minutes day or night. John and Klaus were fantastic at attending to all of our needs throughout the evening. We appreciated that they gave us time and privacy while the speeches were delivered. When taking our orders, John was very attentive as two of the guests have food allergies and he ensured food safety and took it very seriously. At the end of the night, the executive chef stopped by the room which was a nice touch. The food was outstanding and portions were generous. Overall a great experience.
The ambiance was excellent, and the house-made salad dressing was exquisite. Each bite of the food offered an abundance of flavors. The evening concluded with baklava ice cream for dessert. This assessment comes from an individual with experience as a sous chef in Greek restaurants.

Your front door gas spring mechanism is completely broken or not rated for the weight of the door. It closes very slowly and as a result there's a constant cold draft at our table. My mother was cold at the table. Unacceptable.
Food and service was ok. Definitely understaffed.

The food was amazing. However, when i went inside the host in the front was very rude and made me feel like I shouldn’t be there. I understand it is a fine dining restaurant however i am not foreign to the setting. I have been to multiple fine dining restaurants but i was never greeted with the look of judgement at the front door. Her face only softened when i verified a reservation with my company. The servers were amazing but the low rating is for the host. Please treat all of our customers fairly.

It's old school and nostalgic but absolutely amazing. Love it. Been there twice this year and the food is always fantastic. The service is how it should be. At last a place that one pays tip because you are getting real service. The atmosphere is so unique that it gets used in movies. All around a fantastic experience. Price tag is basically +$150 pp

Went for a corporate function today. The Shrimp Tagliatelle was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I was astonished at how bad it was considering the calibre of the restaurant. Super disappointed. The calamari was also below average.

We hosted our Corporate Christmas Party 🎄 Rita was very helpful during the booking of our event. Dinner service was exceptional! The team at The David Duncan House was incredible. All food was timed to perfection and brought out at the same time. Food was great! Everything cooked to perfection! Would definitely recommend this venue for your next event.
