It was a birthday celebration. While I go to David Duncan other times a year it is traditional to celebrate my son's birthday at David Duncan house. Food was great. Service was great and as always the piece of Birthday Cake with candle ads such a nice finishing touch.

The surrounding is noisy.The guests treated this as their private party. Food is horrible. The steak tasted like the leftover from a week ago. I know this place for over 20 years, and I visit them at least once per year. This is the worst I have ever encountered. I will not visit them anymore.

Great experience! We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday at D. Duncan. I had been there few times before and I am glad the quality is very consistent. We had an amazing time, staff very friendly and polite and available. Food was great and fresh. We definitely recommend this place.

Fantastic experience. Food quality was exceptional. The scallops, steak, and everything else were cooked to absolute perfection. The spring salad was very tasty. The Pinot Noir by the glass, while expensive, was also exceptional. Service was superb and servers were attentive. All in all a great experience. The ambiance was very nice and the noise levels were very low. Highly recommended. I've eaten at most premium steak houses in the GTA over the years and would rate this in the top 3 experiences to date.

The service was awful especially from our waiter who was rude when he came to the table. We were not offered wine or drinks after the first one. We had nothing but water during dinner. We had to ask for a desert menu after 40minutes of waiting with our empty dinner plates in front of us. He threw the menus in front of each one of us without even looking at us individually but gazing arrogantly at another table. I had to call him twice to the table or he would not have come to the table as he only came a couple of times over the course of the evening. I've been to this restaurant a few times and would definitely not consider coming here again! Take your money elsewhere!

4.5 out of 5. The restaurant was very nice, food was good and service was very good. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, shrimps, veal chop, and the prime rib. The shrimps were unremarkable, the veal chop was very tasty but very fatty, the scallops and the prime rib were delish. The restaurant was so kind and brought us a delicious dessert, on the house, to celebrate our anniversary. It was lovely and unexpected.

This's our favourite steak house. The food and service is always great. We had dinner there last night and I noticed that the place was extremely dusty. It hasn't been cleaned for years! I only looked up where we were sitting and I noticed very thick dust layers all over the place. The ceiling was moldy too. I hope they clean the place after reading my review.
