First time I tried their honey Bbq chicken was amazing! Went back yesterday to get it and was really disappointed! It was as if they took the chicken out the package and threw it flour and put the sauce over. Very fresh as in no seasoning or probably not cleaned. The sauce (coating) still taste good, but once you get to the flesh itself it’s lacking seasoning and flavour.

Good spot for fried and bbq chicken. Make sure you get that red sauce on the chicken and rice and peas. Certain styles like oxtail and fried chicken run out quick so just be aware. Prices are fair.

I think Dimes is now my favorite Jamaican restaurant. My go-to would be fried chicken, however, barb fried, and the jerk is also fire. I'm not even into rice and peas but Dimes makes it really nice, I wish I knew how to make it like them. I only just wish they would be a little bit more consistent with the coleslaw and the gravy, because sometimes they forget to add it even though you ask for it.

When attending the restaurant for takeout, every single item was sold out. The only two items that weren’t sold out, we decided to order.
Even with just two items remaining to order, you would think the service or portions would at least make up for it. The coleslaw for two dinners was one spoon full EACH, not even a full bite for a coleslaw dinner side.
As for the two chicken dinners, they didn’t even have enough rice to accommodate so one of the boxes were filled with plain rice to fill the order, which is embarrassing after not even receiving enough coleslaw.
To top it off, we paid for two drinks and didn’t receive them!
I just went in for two dinner meals, received a bite of coleslaw each, one dinner with half filler white rice, and then didn’t even get my two drinks in the bag.
The two employees were very nice and respectful, but the restaurant should be embarrassed to provide two “dinners” that are just boxes slammed with rice, no sides, paying for drinks that are not even in the takeout bag.
I basically just paid for old rice with chicken, a half spoon of coleslaw, and no drinks… and that’s after I decided to be nice enough to accept everything being sold out. You would think when having zero options, the only option I have would at least be catered too… but no. I would have given this a four or five star for food taste, but the fact that I put up with the only food option possible, to be shafted my entire order (literally shorted the side and robbed for my drinks), I didn’t even get the full meal I was forced to select.

Although I drive past this place a number of times, I never noticed it until I found them on too good to go last year. Their prices are the best on the app, and I've experienced the portions move from large to okay and large again. However, I feel it is also a function of the service personnel. I've seen 3 different faces since Q4 of last year.

Ordered there today. Got their jerk chicken, rice and peas asked for oxtail gravy no gravy the girl serving said stew chicken gravy or another kind ( don't recall) i asked for stew chicken gravy. She didn't give me the gravy I asked her if she put she said yes. Got to work and no gravy, the food taste is mediocre at best. At least its not over salted. Tiny bit of steam veg and no gravy. Chicken is basic. Never going back.
