When attending the restaurant for takeout, every single item was sold out. The only two items that weren’t sold out, we decided to order.
Even with just two items remaining to order, you would think the service or portions would at least make up for it. The coleslaw for two dinners was one spoon full EACH, not even a full bite for a coleslaw dinner side.
As for the two chicken dinners, they didn’t even have enough rice to accommodate so one of the boxes were filled with plain rice to fill the order, which is embarrassing after not even receiving enough coleslaw.
To top it off, we paid for two drinks and didn’t receive them!
I just went in for two dinner meals, received a bite of coleslaw each, one dinner with half filler white rice, and then didn’t even get my two drinks in the bag.
The two employees were very nice and respectful, but the restaurant should be embarrassed to provide two “dinners” that are just boxes slammed with rice, no sides, paying for drinks that are not even in the takeout bag.
I basically just paid for old rice with chicken, a half spoon of coleslaw, and no drinks… and that’s after I decided to be nice enough to accept everything being sold out. You would think when having zero options, the only option I have would at least be catered too… but no. I would have given this a four or five star for food taste, but the fact that I put up with the only food option possible, to be shafted my entire order (literally shorted the side and robbed for my drinks), I didn’t even get the full meal I was forced to select.

Although I drive past this place a number of times, I never noticed it until I found them on too good to go last year. Their prices are the best on the app, and I've experienced the portions move from large to okay and large again. However, I feel it is also a function of the service personnel. I've seen 3 different faces since Q4 of last year.
Overall, the service and food quality is okay.

Paid for an order, pickup time at 9 and they start closing. When asked where the order was they said sorry sold out lol. So you have my money and I have wasted time :)

Ordered there today. Got their jerk chicken, rice and peas asked for oxtail gravy no gravy the girl serving said stew chicken gravy or another kind ( don't recall) i asked for stew chicken gravy. She didn't give me the gravy I asked her if she put she said yes. Got to work and no gravy, the food taste is mediocre at best. At least its not over salted. Tiny bit of steam veg and no gravy. Chicken is basic. Never going back.

The food isn't bad but the portions are ridiculous. Ordered a medium fried chicken meal and it couldn't have been more than one and a half pieces of chicken chopped up to make it look like more. I also asked for gravy and recieved none despite my order being repeated back to me.

Boy oh Boy!!! Had a Honey BbQ chicken & was it Best meal ve had in the whole GTA. Words fail me honestly,you need to see the smile on my face enjoying the meal & afterwards. Can't wait to spread the word to my boys!!!

came to this place a very few times, Good nice tasting food but when i say horrible customer service, I mean HORRIBLE, One black short lady wearing a mask with a bonnet, she is the rudest person i've ever met, Always giving attitude, how are you going to have one worker working in the store while more then 12 people are lined up waiting for food, Everyonr has to wait more then 7 mins to just get their food and that's unacceptable. Very rude workers there one of the worst customer service i've ever experienced, There food is very good though. They're always out of some type of food either chicken gravy or rice whenever i come and have to go for something i'm not feeling at the moment. Good food from this store but the store overall performance and experience is terrible.
