I like everyone but there is this one lady who took my order and she's kinda rude. She kept giving me sides eyes and spoke to me in an annoyed tone.

I love their pastries but their food could be better. Sometimes their patties are dry and their fries are soggy sometimes. Their (Ghanaian) jollof rice could be better, even though I know Nigerian jollof is better. However, their meat is an approve.

I ordered food from their website for $57.63 for pick up on 7th July, 2024. I got charged on my credit card. I called the restaurant to confirm my order and the staff there gave me a very bad customer service embarrassing me that it’s fraud. They immediately blocked me and I didn’t hear from them again. I didn’t receive no food but my money was deducted.

I will take this opportunity to tell all customers to be careful with this restaurant. They are worse. The staff really embarrassed me without taking time to help resolve the situation.

This place is great. I am from a difficult culture and love their African food. The lovely chef is quite respectful, compromising, calm, and willing to make anything desired from her kitchen. I truly recommend ? ? ? ? oh, the restaurant is rather clean. Her sister's supermarket is close by. I encouraged you to visit as well as they do sell multicultural foods from all nations.

Excellent, consistent taste, unmatched prices in the GTA, I definitely recommend yankeys kitchen to anybody who is looking to explore authentic African cuisine.

Vegetarian options: There is the awaakye, which is rice and black eye beans, with tomato stew, steamed vegetables or for the pescatarians- fried cassava, tilapia or red fish.

Kid-friendliness: There are so many options: your choice of crispy fries, poutine, spaghetti ? and meatballs, fried yam or fried turkey.
