The food is pretty good and I have no complaints on it. However, the customer service is so terrible and the wait is awful. I walked in and the person at the front took about 15 minutes to even serve me, even though I was the only one there. After that I probably waited about 30 minutes for half of my food and another 15 minutes for the rest. I understand that the food is made to order so I expected to wait but it took the staff so long to even prepare it since they were just talking to each other the whole time.

I'm a Seneca student and I've tried most of the food around the village at least once. this is the most delicious food I've had all year, I always treat myself to El Jefe after I finish a big assignment. Buffalo Mac and Cheese is my fave, great bang for your buck. Try getting the ball up box sometime, it's worth trying everything here at least once.

Our friend recommended we check out @eljefe in North York, Toronto (South of @yorku ). So on the way home, I stopped in to get one of my favourite things - chicken and waffles.Chef Chino was cooking up a storm when I arrived and said I also needed to try the tacos. And you know us, we ALWAYS trust staff when they say to try something.And he told no lies!Best chicken taco we have had in a LONG while. Even after my 20ish minute ride home, it was crispy and delicious.The Chicken and Waffles - (two waffles topped with tenders, coated in icing sugar and syrup) were outstanding. All white meat tenders and a very large portion. The sauce was perfection - sweet and spicy, the way it should be!By recommendation, we tried the Chicken tacos - (A birria style taco with grilled chicken tossed in chef’s special sauce, goat cheese, a mango pico de gallo and cilantro on a crispy tortilla) which was the chefs kiss of the dinner.We love hearing about new foodie spots and we only post things we love and would recommend.

Stop here EVERY time I'm in Toronto. Have never once been dissatisfied with anything I've ordered. The food is that type of food where even if you're full, you're still going to finish it anyway. The chefs special sandwich is to die for, and the ballup box is a great way to try it and some of his other options for a discounted price. The owner is probably one of the most inviting people I've had the pleasure of meeting that constantly goes above and beyond to not just build his brand, but also give back to his community and costumers in a way that makes you feel like you're family. Will ALWAYS recommend and ALWAYS return. ??
