The cake named "Medovik" has nothing to do with the real Medovik. Very disappointing for its price of $42.99 at one of Ottawa European delies. Ended up in insinkerator.

Very delicious honey cake, but picture on the package doesn't look like cake in reality.Respond to EB: I included the picture, can you see it? It tells you exactly which cake. With nuts and prunes. I personally don't mind the look, just pointed the difference. Still my fav cake.

Poor quality control. Bought three packs of turnovers made by this bakery from local NoFrills at Dufferin Mall. Cherry Turnovers were good reheated but the two packs of Apple turnovers were terrible - folded sheets of flat dry dough with no butter, filling was just a smear, no sugar topping - production date sticker Oct10/22. I will not be getting these again.

Great pastries, fresh and delicious! We tried Honey vanilla bar-cake and Napoleon cake which always was fresh and delicious. Their Napoleon is one of the best I've had. The price is very reasonable.

Purchased Poiseidon cake at Starsky that had bad nuts-the taste of old, bitter nuts ruined the whole birthday celebration. Do you know that rancid nuts can be dangerous for humans? I get that you try to save as much as you can. But when it comes to health of your customers.... you just lost a loyal customer (hopefully more with this review). Chao
I bought an Easter bread. This is a tasteless bread with a specific unappetizing smell. Waste of money. It's the worst Easter bread I've ever tasted.

I was scheduled for an Administrative Assistant position interview today and On my way to the bakery, when I called them, they informed me that they already found one person and I don't have to go there anymore. They didn't even bother to inform me ahead. I respect people's time and this experience really shocked me. I'm not sad for not getting the job. I'm upset that they don't even showed the manners to inform the scheduled candidates regarding this interview. They are busy I admit. But that doesn't mean that they don't have to show ethics towards people.

Horrible and rude employees. I’m generally silent about the supervisor. After 5 minutes of work he begins to threaten and humiliate. It's very dirty inside. I don’t recommend going there to work - you will be humiliated from head to toe. Three days of training were promised, but after the first day of work they were rudely sent home.

In January we orderd a cake to celebrate my birthday . We were plasantly surpiresd to see a piece of art that was created for us . We could not imagine that something like that could exist. The creativity, taste and estetics is difficult to desribe. We got so many positive responses from our guests and many of them became happy customers since then . Each cake has it's own uniqueness and definetly one of kind taste .
