The jerk chicken is tasty, and the owner is a very nice gentleman. The prices are very reasonable, as are the portions.

Absolutely awful experience. I only stopped in because the place next door didn’t have a washroom, and I figured I’d be polite and ask if I could use theirs. The guy inside looked like some random bum loitering around. Turns out he was the owner, not that he made that clear at all. No greeting, no professionalism, just an attitude. He straight up told me to go back to the other place. I would’ve gladly bought something, even just a soda, if he hadn’t been such a jerk about it. Rude, unwelcoming, and not worth anyone’s time or money.

I'm missing two large beef soups, a bammy, and one of the jerk chickens that was BOGO. I called and they said they would look into the order. I was waiting on the phone for 10 minutes with no answer so I just hung up. Tried to call back and no one is answering the phone now. Now I can't get a refund because of Skip's stupid refund policy. I can see why their rating is lower on Skip than on here. The rice and peas were old and stale and the fried chicken was worse than making it at home

I ordered buy one get one free 2 jerk chicken and 2 jerk pork. They sent 4 orders of jerk chicken with no explanation.

Also, the photo for jerk chicken on Uber Eats shows only chicken, not chicken with rice and slaw, and I wasn't interested in any sort of combo, but yet I received very little chicken and huge containers of rice. Deceptive marketing. If you're going to send chicken and rice, the picture should show chicken and rice, or at least include a description indicating what is included.

Thankfully Uber Eats provided a full refund but I will not be patronizing this business again, and caution others to avoid as well.

Best Jamaican food in the city , owners are so nice and welcoming , great price for great food . 11/10

I placed an order through an app where the restaurant seemed to be listed. When I arrived, not only did they rudely inform me that they were no longer registered, but they were incredibly disrespectful throughout the entire interaction. They treated me as if it was my fault, and I ended up losing my money and leaving without any food.

Apparently they don’t know how to keep track of time. I ordered food, went to pick up and the store was closed. I also arrived within the pick up time window.
Still stupid they would take my order and not tell me they will close soon.

Flavorful jerk chicken not too spicy. Can’t beat the pric, $5.00 lunch special including rice and peas and slaw. Cooked on an out charcoal grill for a natural smoky flavour. Someone mentioned pink chicken but I’m sure this is from the natural smoke. Mine was cooked perfectly.

I ordered 2 jerk chicken lunch special and got 2 BBQ chicken instead, to be honest that isn't the worst, whatever, but the chicken was still pink? Could be the BBQ sauce but I'm still gonna cook it a bit longer.

The food speaks so many languages, the flavours, the well done meals, every time I go to buy food I get treated so well and the food is 100x even more better/ I’m so happy I found this place! Jerk chicken is one of the best in the city if you ask me!!!!
