Oh my gosh, you HAVE to try GC Jerk XPRESS! If you’re craving some authentic Caribbean food, this is the place to be. I’ve been a regular at their food truck location in Halton since 2021, and let me tell you, there’s no difference between how they cook the food in the truck and in the restaurant. Trust me, it’s all the same! Definitely 5 stars!! ⭐️

I dropped in today. Very nice folks. Ordered 2 large jerk chicken rice and peas. Got home. Took one bite and the chicken was raw, pink completely undercooked. Luckily I ripped it apart. Added more jerk marinade and broiled for 20 minutes to make it edible. But for $40. Unacceptable. Called. Left a message. Will not be going back though. Yuck.

As a black person who cooks and comes from a family of great cooks, I tend to be very picky when it comes to my Caribbean food. Nonetheless GC Jerk Xpress food, is flavorful, has that nice spice kick, and a great size portion. Would Highly recommend!

Take out curried chicken was a disaster, does not taste like JA CURRY, 4-5 cubed pieces of white meat, with lot of potatoes and carrots. Not sure because it was close to end of day, runny sauce. RICE n Peas OK. SUGGESTION. IF END OF DAY AND FOOD DOES NOT LOOK APPEALING, DO NOT SERVE. OVER PRICED FOR THE PORTION. I HAVE BETTER QUALITY JA TAKE OUT 5 ITEMS FOR UNDER $15.

The jerk chicken poutine was beyond horrible. They put in small diced up small pieces of fake chicken that has the texture equivalent to TOFU. You would expect actual pieces of jerk chicken in it.

I ordered from this location on door dash the food is really good and the red velvet is amazing the only issue I had was that the food is not properly bagged to prevent from being tampered with from the delivery drivers. I hope this is taken into to consideration to ensure the safety of your customers.

I'm a food connoisseur and I'm a Jamaican descent so when I say that this guy knows how to cook, I want to put that in capital letters. Most Western Indian food you buy outside on the road. It's a bunch of grease. Unseasoned quickly thrown together and sold the prices that don't make a lot of sense to somebody who knows how to cook proper cook food at home.. this is something I would buy and will buy gladly. Great customer service which is super rare 😁 in this particular community I hate to say it. Quality of the food is right up there. I'm so happy I stopped at this place just by chance. Definitely on my recommended list. Best Jamaican food I've had outside of Jamaica outside of the house for sure and I've eaten at a lot of places. Proper jerk chicken proper. They even have a kids meal 🤩
