We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the fish, everything we got was delicious. Happy to leave a great review for them especially since we needed the service to be quick to make it to a concert and they listened and served us quickly! Would love to go back next time I’m in the area.

Update in 2025: the price went up a lot but the dish is getting smaller - they cut the sashimi to half to make it two!
Below was from two years ago :
The food was good and near by. I like the sashimi dinner. It provides more salmon and also tuna and smaller portions of other items.

Amazing fresh food and even better service!
Great place to go for authentic Japanese food. I liked how the rice they use to make the sushi is not cold rice but tastes freshly made.
We were given one of the booths which my kids loved. The service is also great and I noticed they were very attentive to our needs.
We ordered a sushi and maki 40 pieces and bulgogi dinner. The total came to $100 (tax included, excluding tips). Fair price for what we paid.
I would even say this is a good intimate place to take someone out on a date if you can reserve a booth.

Been here many times over the years. Their sushi is always good. Service is fast. Recently went for a quick lunch. Ordered salmon rolls and the tempura meal. The takoyaki and agedashi tofu were a little overfried.

Delicious sushi with friendly staff. Worth a try.

Best Sushi in the area
The sashimi and maki were very fresh, cold and tasty. Anna were the perfect hostess. They prepared the best green tea.
The best sushi in North York IMO.
Genji Sushi offers a delicious variety of sushi and Japanese dishes with a menu full of great options. The food is fresh and flavorful, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I only wish they stayed open a little later—it’s the kind of place you want to linger in!
