Tried some of the mochi (taro and green tea) and it was delicious! It costs $3.20 for a pack of 2
Delicious and freshly made cakes, buns, cookies and tarts
Hygiene is good and people works there are friendly!!
We like fresh mango cake, chestnut cake and mixed fruits cake!
My favourite place to get egg tarts ($2.25 each) . No tax with 6+ items
The guy at the cash register was extremely rude. When we asked about the tax for paying with cash, he retorted with “is this your first day in Canada?”. First and last time visiting the store.
A truly traditional Black Forest cake! The chocolate sponge is rich and moist, the cream is smooth and perfectly balanced, and the jelly is chewy! Not too sweet—just right!
I also bought a pineapple bun and a sausage bun. The pineapple bun was made with real quality ingredients, but the sausage bun felt like it disappeared in a bite—too light and unsubstantial.🤭🫢
Super fresh buns, and great selection
Clean store, straightforward, the mini chicken pies are really good and taste very authentic. Not many places do chicken pie so i would definitely come back for them!

I happened to buy an Earl Gray Tea Chiffon Cake before, it was so delicious! But it seems to only be available occasionally. Anyway, I haven’t bought it since. ? If you have a chance to see it, you must try it.

Lady at the front was less than helpful. Coconut twist barely had any coconut. Signage all in Chinese, and when you ask them what something says they don't answer.

I've been getting my HK buns and pastries here since I was a kid, and it's always been a staple breakfast or snack in my household! The buns and pastries are not necessarily extraordinary, but they're consistently good, fresh, and one of the most affordable. My favourites are the coconut pineapple buns, plain pineapple buns, and coconut tarts (which are p a c k e d with coconut so they're actually very hefty and filling). Overall, it's a lovely bakery that reminds me of classic HK bakeries, and the owner (?) always welcomes us warmly.
You need to try their fresh egg tarts!!!
It used to be one of the best HK style bakery, but when I visited the store a few days ago (haven’t been there for 12 years since I moved), it’s such a disappointment. The store looks different, their coconut buns don’t even have the slightest bit of butter or coconut favour; the preserved egg with lotus cake 皮蛋酥 is awful, the egg is so chewy, it feels like rubber. Not worth a penny. Highly don’t recommend the new store. It should have its own name instead of taking over a well-known bakery name.
Ordered a fresh mango cake for a birthday and it was amazing! Everyone loved it! Buns are always fresh and a great deal! If you buy 6 there's no tax and it's cash only.
We come here only for the egg tarts, they’re very good!!
