Clean store, straightforward, the mini chicken pies are really good and taste very authentic. Not many places do chicken pie so i would definitely come back for them!

I happened to buy an Earl Gray Tea Chiffon Cake before, it was so delicious! But it seems to only be available occasionally. Anyway, I haven’t bought it since. ? If you have a chance to see it, you must try it.

Lady at the front was less than helpful. Coconut twist barely had any coconut. Signage all in Chinese, and when you ask them what something says they don't answer.

much much worse than 10 years ago, may be now it has different owner , taste very bad
I've been getting my HK buns and pastries here since I was a kid, and it's always been a staple breakfast or snack in my household! The buns and pastries are not necessarily extraordinary, but they're consistently good, fresh, and one of the most affordable. My favourites are the coconut pineapple buns, plain pineapple buns, and coconut tarts (which are p a c k e d with coconut so they're actually very hefty and filling). Overall, it's a lovely bakery that reminds me of classic HK bakeries, and the owner (?) always welcomes us warmly.
You need to try their fresh egg tarts!!!
It used to be one of the best HK style bakery, but when I visited the store a few days ago (haven’t been there for 12 years since I moved), it’s such a disappointment. The store looks different, their coconut buns don’t even have the slightest bit of butter or coconut favour; the preserved egg with lotus cake 皮蛋酥 is awful, the egg is so chewy, it feels like rubber. Not worth a penny. Highly don’t recommend the new store. It should have its own name instead of taking over a well-known bakery name.
Ordered a fresh mango cake for a birthday and it was amazing! Everyone loved it! Buns are always fresh and a great deal! If you buy 6 there's no tax and it's cash only.
We come here only for the egg tarts, they’re very good!!
Cash only for tax fraud

Amazing value
I have visited and purchased cakes from this shop twice before. The baked items cakes etc. are tasty but it seems the young lady owner at the reception is extremely rude and is not at all customer friendly.I think she is being forced to do this job by her parents because one can literally see that on her face. I am giving 1 star because google doesn't allow to post a review with a 0 star. The shop is small and sweet and in order to create and make relationship with customers of other different community the shop owner should be courteous and diligent in providing services to their customers. But unfortunately the owners don't want to do that.I also observed that some times she does speak nicely with people from her own Chinese community but because I am not Chinese or Korean or may be because I am brown, the young lady (shop owner) literally displayed her frustration and displeasure on my face. I only asked her a few questions and the way she answered to me was completely uninviting and made me feel unwanted. Its disheartening to see when Canada invites new immigrants and when these new immigrants become successful or gets into the system they make their own little space while not learning simple communication skills, soft skills and interpretation skills. The way she spoke English was also as if somebody was forcing her to speak English language from her mouth. I am never visiting this shop ever again. And I am sure, this young lady owner doesn't even want any people from an outside community to visit and allow others to involve with her or contribute to her shop. Horrible experience.Beware - People from any other outside community (not from the community to which the shop owner belongs, may be chinese or korean), if you happen to visit, then please be ready to face an insulting and disgraceful display of customer service when you visit this shop.
The best egg tarts periodd
5-stars for the best Dan-Ta (egg-tart) in the neighbourhood! I have been coming to this place for the past 20+ years. There are more fancy chinese bakeries around now, but I still feel this shop has the best Dan-Ta ever! I like a couple of their staple buns too: sausage buns and the raisin twist. You can never go wrong with those. But the Dan-Ta- omigosh, the egg and the tart is so fragrant and flaky.
