Love that there is one of these Hong Kong style cafes within Fairview Mall. The space is a bit tight but very clean and bright. Service was good and fairly accommodating. The milk tea was flavourful and silky. I had the instant noodles with chicken and ginger scallion oil. Not sure if it was because I was hungry but it tasted really good! I'm knocking off one star as the prices are a little bit high for this style of dining, but I also understand that the rent is probably very high at the mall.

Parking: Parking at this end of the mall can be a pain. If you don't mind walking a bit, there are lots of other spots at other mall entrances.

Both partner and I had a severe diarrhea after dinning in. Food is way too salty. I couldn't finish my meal because it is to salty. Will never return.

It feels like a Hong Kong tea restaurant, so it’s not a place to chat with friends. The service is also good, the portions of food are large, and many people take away the rest.

Delicious food—we got the shrimp toast and the pepper chicken with curry sauce baked with cheese and rice. Service was on point. Price point is very reasonable. Got seated right away. Would highly recommend! Forgot to take pics before taking initial bites of the shrimp toast!

Overall it’s okay for a quick bite, however, not as good as the one in Markham I feel. Our fish balls were served lukewarm( the core was still cold) … hope it will get better

Forgot to put in my order and didn’t acknowledge the mistake. Waited an extra 20 minutes for a baked dish. Could witness the kitchen staff shooting the bull instead of actually wanting to do their job the majority of the time. Won’t come back.

It’s aight, standard HK cafe. Get the rice with bbq pork, or the ox tongue one, the flavour is tight. Price is decent, on par with Chinatown, which is normally affordable.

Will come back to.

Honestly not sure why this place has such bad reviews because it’s a pretty solid spot. North York doesn’t have a lot of great HK cafes compared to Scarbs and Markham/Richmond Hill so I was very excited that they opened a Good Catch here. Of course the prices are a little higher because of its location inside Fairview. We went on a Sunday for lunch and were seated quickly, food came out fast and service was efficient. Their Beef Satay noodles were really tasty and the beef was so tender. The baked pork chop rice was also on point. Only complaint is the iced HK Milk Tea tasted a bit watered down. Honestly pretty solid HK Cafe for this area and definitely hits the spot if you’re not up for the long waits and drive to the more authentic spots in Markham and Scarbs.

Ordered a pineapple bun with satay beef (n02), the bun has a funny dense and hard, wax like texture. The beef has no satay flavour at all. $12.99+tax, I think my money was wasted and will never go back again.

A BIG NO for muslims! Utterly disgusting. Thank god I had my Chinese friends with me if not their so called shrimp wonton had PORKS which would have been inside my tummy. My friends identified it the moment I was taking a bite. You guys should know there’s a big population of muslims and you cannot just serve pork inside by saying “shrimp wontons.” Awful experience.
