Price is good for Hong Kong style cafe inside of a busy shopping mall. 👍👍👍 Fast and food is quite tasty.

I had lunch at there, really enjoyed it. I ordered a set meal but asked to swap the char siu for chicken steak — the staff were super friendly and happily made the change. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and went perfectly with the rice and sauce. The service was warm and attentive, which made the whole experience even nicer. Definitely a cozy spot I’d come back to for a comforting meal and good vibes.

Good catch cafe is the one of my favorite restaurants in Toronto! Authentic Hong Kong style!Milk tea is especially memorable.
The food was fine — typical Hong Kong café standard. The location is convenient for shoppers since it’s inside the mall. However, the service was quite questionable. I’ve been to many HK cafés, so I know what to expect, but I don’t understand why the server pretended not to see me and even rolled his eyes. We had to raise our voices just to get their attention, and it wasn’t even during a busy hour. It was supposed to be a quick dine-in, but the attitude really ruined the experience.

Super stoked to have this Char Chaan Teng at Fairview! Delicious menu items in the perfect portion size, completely satisfying my cravings for Hong Kong comfort food. Scrambled eggs were silky smooth and cooked perfectly. Decor is nice and modern, giving an upscale HK cafe vibe. Would definitely come here often after shopping!

Love that there is one of these Hong Kong style cafes within Fairview Mall. The space is a bit tight but very clean and bright. Service was good and fairly accommodating. The milk tea was flavourful and silky. I had the instant noodles with chicken and ginger scallion oil. Not sure if it was because I was hungry but it tasted really good! I'm knocking off one star as the prices are a little bit high for this style of dining, but I also understand that the rent is probably very high at the mall.
Parking: Parking at this end of the mall can be a pain. If you don't mind walking a bit, there are lots of other spots at other mall entrances.

Both partner and I had a severe diarrhea after dinning in. Food is way too salty. I couldn't finish my meal because it is to salty. Will never return.

It feels like a Hong Kong tea restaurant, so it’s not a place to chat with friends. The service is also good, the portions of food are large, and many people take away the rest.

Delicious food—we got the shrimp toast and the pepper chicken with curry sauce baked with cheese and rice. Service was on point. Price point is very reasonable. Got seated right away. Would highly recommend! Forgot to take pics before taking initial bites of the shrimp toast!

Overall it’s okay for a quick bite, however, not as good as the one in Markham I feel. Our fish balls were served lukewarm( the core was still cold) … hope it will get better
