I think I might just outgrown this type of restaurant. The food tastes cheap, but the price does reflect the quality (kind of). The portion is pretty big, and they give a free drink for ordering a main dish. Reasonable place if you are in a rush. You can be in and out within 20 minutes.

I felt the food here is consistent in all the times I have been here. Prices fair considering you get a drink with the main dishes. Service was very attentive. One of the few HK cafe places with portguese chicken baked noodles. We also the mushroom cream seafood rice today.

Come here every few weeks. Solid food with good portions. Better taste and cleanliness than other hk cafes. Priced a tad high relatively to other hk cafes but its in a mall. I like the hk milk tea and honey lemon tea here.

This spot makes the BEST Minced Pork Patty on Rice in the GTA✨Dried Squid & Minced Pork Rice is the BOMB, meaty, juicy THIC Minced Pork Patty seared to perfection, Dried Squid adds so much Umami, paired with 2 Fried Eggs, gosh you gotta get it! AAA Striploin with Gravy came on a hot plate that wasn’t sizzlin much, the Steak was tender, paired with Fries & Gravy, so good! The Shumai was OK, adding Hoisin Sauce to it was a bit weird.But don’t sleep on their Curry Fish & Beef Balls while you’re at it!

Super convenient HK cafe location if you're shopping at Fairview. There is usually a queue, but you can join the waitlist and keep shopping until you get your text notification that your table is ready.
They have a pretty expansive menu with all the standard HK Cafe items. Food is standard and portion sizes are good. Pricing is reasonable. They also don't charge extra for cold drinks with their set meals (which most HK cafes do).

As a person with severe peanut and nut allergies i was disappointed to be told by my server that they use peanut oil to deep fry their fried dishes and had a small range of food options that i could safely eat from. Additionally, the fact that not all of their fried dishes were labeled with a peanut marker on the menu which could have ended up with me getting sent to the er if I didnt ask the server to double check with the kitchen staff that the dish i originally ordered didnt have nuts. Great server though, she was apologetic and gave some food recommendations. The red bean and milk drink i got was great though

However, the waiting system was so frustrating, in which there were plenty of empty tables in the restaurant, the waiting list was without any progress at all. I need to approach the staff asking for the readiness. Then she immediately assigned me a table. If not asking, no one in the waiting list would be assigned with a table.
