This spot is my go-to for solid HK-style comfort food. The kitchen moves fast, the food hits every time, and the prices are super affordable.

I’m obsessed with the steamed rice in lotus leaf. Whether you go with beef or pork ribs, it always comes out hot, fragrant, and cozy. Total comfort dish. The pineapple bun is another great pick— crunchy on the outside, pillowy inside, with just the right hint of sweetness. I love pairing it with something savoury like satay beef. Sweet, salty, soft, crunchy— it checks every box.

For dessert, I never skip the steamed egg pudding. It’s silky, light, and not too sweet. The only miss for me was the beef and egg macaroni in coconut tomato soup— the tomato base was too acidic and overpowering.

The cafe itself is small, but the service is quick and efficient. Even when there’s a wait, you won’t be standing around for long. Worth it every time.

Too small portion for a $20 price, not even full after the meal...

I used to like this restaurant a lot. But the portion of the delivery food reduced a lot! Pay more and received less on the portions! Not recommended anymore

this is like the fourth time I’ve ordered food requesting no tomatoes and they forgot to remove them again! Why does that keep happening??

I love the vibes here and you really can’t beat the price.

I’ve always gotten excellent service every time we’ve gone here.

The food comes fresh, the tea is strong and hot and comes with the meal. Make sure you have a smartphone with QR capabilities because that’s how you’ll have to order.

Food and atmosphere brought me back to HK. Very detailed with their decorations including flooring, walls, the plates and cups in cha chaan teng style. And the food options too.
Staffs were very attentive and friendly.
I ordered the steamed pork with pickled veg rice but the meat patty wasn't to my liking, it came across like a dry burger patty, nothing like how they usually make it in HK. Popcorn chicken was good and milk tea was perfect. Glad they have chili oil sauce too.

Good Luck HK Café is truly a gem in the community. It does a fantastic job preserving the essence of cha chaan teng (Hong Kong café) culture while also offering an innovative menu that blends tradition with creativity. The interior decor is authentically Hong Kong-style, bringing a nostalgic yet fresh vibe to the space. Conveniently located near Finch Station, it’s easily accessible by subway, making it a great spot for anyone craving a taste of Hong Kong in the city. Highly recommended!

Not so sure why this place is over 4 stars tbh. Maybe is the decor n the drinks make up for the IG pic. Food is extremely normal. Order baked pork chop rice where typical hk cafe would use fried rice for any baked rice but this one is not so instant fail right away. The satay beef egg rice is very standard satay sauce where you could make the same at home with Lee kum Kee satay sauce. Definitely not coming back but i guess there is no hk cafe nearby.

Food is okay, nothing too crazy to shout about but also not bad. Looking forward to come back to try other dishes.
