Halibut House Fish and Chips

You guys have to check this place out. The service was great and super quick. Charlene was awesome. Food is always delicious especially their halibut and everytime I’ve gone it’s always consistent. Their tartar sauce is literally the best and they have amazing specials.

Just finished the fish and chips — very delicious
The fish was crispy on the outside and tender inside, not greasy at all.The fries were hot and crispy, with a generous portion.Server Charlene was very friendly and the service was great.Very satisfying meal. Will definitely come back again!

Today Sunday, January 4th did a take out for fish and chips. Fish sizes is completely different, fish batter was in half of the fish and service was absolutely horrible & extremely rude.

Me and my friends had an amazing time at halibut house. Our server, Charlene, was kind and very helpful during our little soirée. Her vivacious character and effervescence was really admirable. I 100% recommend this location to those that want to have a positive, fun eating experience.

Great place for fish and chips. Serves halibut, cod and haddock. The batter on the fish was excellent very crispy, thin and light. The chips were fresh cut and fried and not from frozen. The tartar sauce was also hoise made and came on monsterous bottle and not in small packets like many places.finally the pprtion size was generpus while prices was low especially when you stock with the specials - excellent value.

Overpriced. Tried to charge me extra, to take home what I didn't eat. Charged me over $40 for 2 pieces of halibut. Fries were undercooked. Won't be back at these prices.

We had a great experience here! The fish and chips were fresh, crispy, light and full of flavour. The service was friendly and fast, which made the visit even better. There’s a parking booth that says you need to pay for parking, but it’s actually out of service—so parking is free, which was a nice surprise. —it made the whole trip hassle-free. Our server was Charlene who gave us amazing service! Charlene went above and beyond, was incredibly friendly, and really made the experience memorable.” Highly recommend if you’re looking for good food and great service!

Finally found a fish and chips place that didn't make us feel greasy AND had amazing service. Food tasted great, portion size was perfect, and Charlene really made us feel welcome.

Will definitely add this place to our regular rotation!
