The sushi was fresh and tasted great, though I found some of the pieces a bit small in portion. One thing that surprised me was when the waiter asked if I wanted water or tea — I chose tea, but wasn't informed there would be an extra charge. When I checked out, I saw a $5 charge for the tea, which I felt should have been mentioned upfront. It was just a very basic tea with mild flavor, definitely not something I’d expect to cost that much. I think they should be more transparent about extra charges like this.

Food overpriced and sashimi very thin slice and scallop not fresh. Beef teriyaki with little beef but lots of veggies underneath. Won’t come back again

I bought take out food this evening. The server was impolite and unfriendly. I’ll not go to this restaurant again.
I kept the receipt. I walked in several time to buy take out food in the past. So far , I didn’t call to order take out food from your restaurant. You should check your record.

It's tucked away in a tiny strip plaza. You may have been driving right past it for years. If so, you don't know what you are missing. Huge menu. Decent quality. Good service. Cozy atmosphere. I've never left disappointed. Selfishly, I'd like to keep this place a secret, but little neighbourhood spots like this deserve to be acknowledged.

I'm a regular customer, and I can in all honesty say that the staff are attentive and kind, and the food is top-notch. The prices are definitely affordable, especially considering the quality. Would definitely recommend!

Updating my review. 5 to 3 stars. I haven't been to this restaurant for few years. Prior to COVID, I've recommended this place to many of my friends. Re-visited the location, left with different impression. Can't recommend anymore. Not a horrible place but food and service can be improved. Maybe it was just the day I've visited, I will give it a one more go later.
