Jokbal (Braised Pork Prottrrs) is a must order dish and we like the one to be wrapped with lettuce.

Came on a Friday at around 5pm. It was not busy and the vibe in the restaurant is nice with Korean music.
I got the Extra Spicy Pork Jokbal to share. Portions are a good amount for two people but wow, let me warn you im an avid spicy food enjoyer but this was legit extra spicy so beware. It was still very enjoyable and the pork hock meat was soft. It comes with lettuce and various garnishes to eat as a wrap called a ssam.
The staff was very friendly and we had no trouble ordering in English
Overall, I would come back again but choose a lower spiciness dish

I always go to this place when I want to eat Korean food ❣️ the meat is sooo soft and tender! I also like the spicy noodle too! It might be too spicy for some people (I’m really good with spice but I struggled little 🤭) the service was ALWAYS nice (I’ve been here almost more than 10times) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Portion so big two grown man cant finish a plate
We noticed a lot of Korean diners inside, which was a great sign—and the food absolutely lived up to the hype! The jokbal was tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented—easily one of the best we’ve had.
The side dishes were fresh and plentiful, and the cold spicy noodles offered the perfect refreshing contrast. Portions were generous and perfect for sharing between two.
If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in North York, this spot is a must-try.
One heads-up: the restaurant is on the smaller side with limited parking, and the bathrooms downstairs could use better upkeep. Hopefully, they improve that soon.

The portion is big. Foods were on point. Especially their Kimchi, it’s good enough for me asking for buying more to store in my fridge lol

Restaurantji Recommends
First, let me say the food itself is excellent—I’ve never had any complaints. This restaurant is always our go-to for special gatherings, and everyone enjoys the meal. However, I want to address the service we encountered, particularly from the manager.
I called ahead to order Garlic Bossam. When we arrived, I asked my friend to pick it up while I waited in the car. Unfortunately, he told me they made “Spicy” instead of “Garlic”. I’m certain I ordered Garlic—especially since some of our friends can’t handle spicy food. But there's no proof of whose fault, we really want to take this spicy order but it just won't work for us. My friend spoke with the manager inside, hoping they’d replace the order, but from his wordings seem like the only solution is for us to take the spicy bossam.
I went inside with another friend to explain that I’ve ordered here several times and know that if we request “spicy,” staff always ask whether we want hot or extra hot. The manager responded, saying it “depends on the person who take the order,” and then kept repeating that their protocol doesn’t allow them to resell food. He said this repeatedly, almost robotically, without offering a straightforward conclusion.
When my friend commented, “Then this is not our problem,” she was simply reacting to his repeated explanation of store policy—which, from our point of view, this is really not our problem. That seemed to offend the manager, and he began to confront her, insisting she “talk to him directly,” even as we were trying to discuss a solution in another language. It was clear he was struggling with anger management.
Eventually he said that the mix-up could have been either side’s fault, and offered to replace the meal—but only after prolonged pushback. Throughout the 20-minute chat, he never offered a proactive solution and continued to press us to admit fault. I told him I’m a loyal customer, not trying to cause trouble, and he said he’d worked there since the restaurant opened, but I’m not trying to have a competition with him lol.
While I’m grateful he finally replaced the order, the delay and his tone made the experience very unpleasant, especially on a Sunday night when everyone was just trying to relax. I want to emphasize again that the food has been fantastic since opening, but the behavior and attitude of this manager were unacceptable. I’ve never had an experience like this in Toronto.
I strongly encourage the owner to look into this issue and consider anger-management training for the manager. I know the restaurant has always been popular, but after this experience, the service really discourages us from ordering again.

Big portions, yummy jokbal. Rice balls are a must!
Wish the atmosphere was a little more cozy late at night. Lights felt harsh and bright for a gathering.
