I ordered the half-and-half combo of spicy jokbal and bossam. The jokbal was decent in flavor, but about 30–40% of it was bones, which was disappointing for the portion.
The real letdown was the bossam. I expected boiled pork belly—tender and flavorful—but instead received 8–10 large, blocky chunks of meat that were hard, not tender at all, and had a strong pork smell that didn’t seem fresh. There was no pork belly to be found.

Here serves very tender and flavorful jokbal! The meat is soft, gelatinous in a good way, and well-seasoned. Portions are generous and perfect for sharing. Side dishes are fresh and the service is friendly. A solid spot for anyone craving Korean-style braised pork trotters. Perfect for people who want to have a serious meal of Korean jokbal.
The original braised pork hock was quite good. However, the spicy version we ordered was mostly fatty pieces with very little lean meat. We ended up leaving quite a bit of it uneaten. The DIY rice ball is a fun and creative idea, and it tasted pretty good as well.
