Honestly this was one of the worst tasting fish and chips I’ve ever had. I can’t understand how their rating is so high. It was absolutely terrible

Have gone here for years & have always been very happy with our fish and chips. Fish was crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside, so yummy!Very reasonably priced as well.Good Friday is always crazy busy but they were friendly & working fast to get everyone’s food.Definitely recommend!

Bought halibut, 3 pieces, the fish was so paper thin, was really a rip off. Just a grease fest with practically no fish inside the batter. 3 paper thin pieces of fish, one fries and a small gravy. 50 bucks. That'll be my last visit to this place ✌

Excellent fish and chips! Just like the English chippies. Good portions and reasonable prices.

We ordered the daily special (haddock + chips + pop + gravy/coleslaw) and it was delicious. The fish were fried fresh to order. The gravy wasn’t too salty.

Been a regular here for a while - always a great deal and the lady who works and owns it is the best. Call ahead as some days they are closed without it being posted and bring cash!

Was extremely bland. No salt, seasoning no nothing. I honestly don’t think the cooking conditions are fit for health safety regulations in Ontario. It was truly one of the most disappointing meals I’ve ever tried in my life time

Best fish, shrimp, chips in town. Crispy fish on the outside tender soft white fish (halibut) inside. The chips are perfect.
This is a tiny place in a strip mall and easy to miss, as a sign is not conspicuous. After reading the mostly stellar reviews here, I was anticipating larger and thicker fish portions. They are square (about 4 inches) and on the thin side. The mass produced packaged tartar sauce is truly unappetizing. The side (french fries/onion rings) portions are sizable and good, and the cole slaw is tasty, but smallish. The prices are decent, but nothing special when compared to other fish & chips establishments. There are two tiny round tables with a few chairs available if one were to choose to eat there, which I would highly recommend you DON'T do. This place not only totally lacks ambiance, it is a dump. The bottom of the garbage disposal at the corner exit is mostly falling apart at the bottom, which renders it unsightly and unstable. Not a penny has been spent to update or improve the esthetics in this joint for a very long time.

Been to this plaza many times but first time here for fish & chips. Saw the reviews and I figure I would try it.Ordered the haddock special, I think they just opened took a while for the oil to heat up properly. I’d asked for the fries a bit well done. Gravy on the side.I quickly went to the car to eat it so the takeaway wasn’t soggy. I found the fish had a bit much batter and the fries not crispy. The food was okay. Maybe people liked the pricing?I’m going to try them one more time for the poutine, will let you know soon.
