gentlemen in all black (maybe bartender or manager?) provided outstanding service during our takeout order. His recommendations were excellent, and the food was top-notch. His mannerisms and communication made the experience truly memorable. excited to try in store about winterlicious next time ;) I’m glad I discovered this place, recommending it to family and friends. Excellent service—thank you very much!

Hands down the best sushi in Toronto, paired with exceptional customer service.
I came here tonight with my brother—he’s a regular and always visits with his friends, and now I completely understand why he insisted I try it. From the moment we sat down, the experience was outstanding.
Our server, Gabin, truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful—checking in on us frequently, making sure our water was always full, and ensuring we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. She genuinely made us feel at home, which is rare and so appreciated.
The food was phenomenal, and the service elevated the entire experience to another level. We will definitely be back.
Thank you, Gabin, for making our visit absolutely top-notch. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The food at Japanese restaurants is honestly pretty similar across the board, so I didn’t expect anything exceptionally amazing. I went mainly because the atmosphere looked unique.
However, I was really put off by the fact that they charged an extra $2 for cho-gochujang. When I asked why a sauce costs extra, they said it’s because they make it in-house. That explanation didn’t make sense to me — are they saying they wouldn’t charge if it were store-bought?
On top of that, the portion was extremely small, yet they still charged for it. Overall, I find this pricing system hard to understand and not very customer-friendly
Great and comfy place to enjoy the dinner with family and friends.
It is really improved a lot since the COVID years. From a take out sushi place to a fine dining restaurant. Great transformation.
I definitely will come back for more to try the rest of the menu.

Probably my most favorite sushi place in town. The Aburi sushis are just perfection. Soft and they melt in your mouth. Their special sushi roll that has sweet potato in it also has a unique taste that I haven’t seen in any other sushi shops. The sushis taste fresh and atmosphere is cozy. Highly recommended if you are looking for a sushi place in North York.

Another go to spot for tempura and sushi!
I love their oshi sushi and the salmon taco, and my husband enjoyed his ebi tempura.
The place is always packed, so better to have a reservation, especially for groups!
Service is superb!

Decent food but their main issue is that their Uber Eats delivery time is always inaccurate— you think that you’ll get your order in decent time but it takes forever.
They may say this is Uber’s issue, but this is their issue if they use Uber. Also, i’ve called in before to make a takeout order and they haven’t picked up their phone.
Nice modern interior with a casual vibe. We were there for a late lunch so it was pretty quiet. The omakase to we had was amazing with fresh fish with the right amount of rice. The fish they use is not the same as your usual Japanese restaurants. The quality is on par with the higher price. I'd visit again!

Ordered chirashi don and Korean sashimi bowl for take out. Food was great, but they forgot the miso soup, soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi. Thankfully, we had soy sauce at home, but it really made the experience disappointing. Mistakes happen, but please check to ensure that important things aren’t forgotten next time!
