Hazukido (Fairview Mall)

We saw a post on social media to make reservation at this store. This restaurant was a total disappointment. The store front was small, they do not have capacity to service in store customer for sure. We arrived to our reservation, only to see no table for us. And all the 3 tables available already have other customers just seated down and beginning to eat. We were asked to sit at 2 smaller table with only 3 chairs for a reservation of 5. No one attended to us for full 15 mins? I don’t know the food quality but this store surely does not have capacity to service in house even if they have not messed up with our reservation. Will not come back again.

Croissants are not even good too, Forest Cafe has it less expensive and way better.

Even the cups here are worse than Tim's, cups...

I recommend going to Tim, you will be served a better coffee lol

Came for Afternoon Tea promotion, it was not easy to book a reservation, I managed to book a time slot, received email confirmation. When I got there, I was told it was canceled, I didn't get any notification that it had been cancel, but the stuff said they can accommodate us

The food and service was fine, I can't say it's a must try, the food I felt it I could have easily made something similar with things I can get at costco

service was standard, like the food, nothing exceptional, don't expect service like you would get in Japan, maybe because of the promotion staff were overworked, it felt like they were a little excused

I would say this is the worst bubble tea I have ever taste in Ontario. The bubble milktea has no taste. It’s like only drinking a water with huge amount of sugar.

Came here for their $20 afternoon tea set. There was not much seating so we sat in a corner. The set came with sweet and savory snacks and unlimited tea - we had two sets as we were a group of 4. Their tea was just okay, but we had to call the server a couple times to refill the teapot. The teapot spilled quite a bit and was enough for two full cups and a refill was required. The pastries were okay as well. The croissant was quite toasted but a decent snack to nibble on - nothing really stood out in terms of the pastries

They have a great selection of baked goods and beverages! Very friendly staff and kind service would highly recommend if you are in the area !

If you plan to take any kids classes I highly DO NOT recommend. The class had sated duration for 75minutes but when my mom dropped off my son they had said you can pick him up in 30 minutes. My mom asked it stated 75 minutes why is it now 30 minutes. This is not what my daughter paid for. They said because there is 4 kids it less time. They all took turn cutting croissant and pipped icing was their whole class. I was not impressed because I can easily do that at home for my son. Honestly waste of money and travel. Will never again let my son attend this course.

I’ve been to other locations and have had the exact item I ordered, so I knew EXACTLY what to expect. I didn’t see the Custard croissant when I went to order and the girl working said she could make one fresh if I just waited two minutes. I ordered a croissant with custard, what a disappointment .. kept biting into the croissant and waiting to get that custard that I know and love .. you know where I finally found it? The last 1/3 of the croissant. So almost $7 for that? Oh and she charged me 25 cents for a bag too. Do better.

I tried their latte and almond custard croissant yesterday. Croissant was good. Latte was the worst latte ever. It tasted like burnt coffee. I couldn't drink it after two sips. My daughter tried a strawberry ice cream smoothie. She usually loves smoothies but she couldn't drink it after a few sips.
