Terrible service, rude staff - like they’re doing me a favour to finally take my order - even though there’s 3 of them, and NO OTHER CUSTOMER at the time. Baked good purchased were terrible and over priced. Never again.

They have convenient coffee and the tea station is always open. They also have a nice sandwich station and don't forget those daring chocolate logs everyone loves!

I never felt so uncomfortable before. I came in to pick up an order, as I walked in, there was a lady on her phone, not paying attention to anyone coming in. There was an asian lady who also worked there, I told her I was here to pick up an order. She told the other lady who was too busy on her phone and she went and got my order. When the other lady came out with my order, she gave it to me and I went to the cashier. I didn’t look right away to notice that there was a receipt on top of the box and the other two ladies found it so funny they were speaking in a different language, that is when I said I didn’t know it was already paid for. I didn’t wanna walk out of here with it not being paid and then they laughed some more.

Incredible and great price thankyou

Pastries and bread usually ok. I purchased 6 cream stuffed donuts at 6.99 each and they were all stale.

The challah recipe has changed. They put less egg in it than they used to. As a result, it’s tasteless and like eating air. Very disappointing as it used to be very good.

I walked into Hermes, conveniently located for midtown shoppers, on a very busy Friday at noon on the first full day of Channukah. As sufganiyot buying tends to create a seasonal mania, I wouldn't recommend shopping here during busy times in spite of the fact that the business appears to be sufficiently staffed on all fronts- it can feel a bit frenetic. The good news is that the hours are quite long. I found all the basic donut flavors to be very fresh, tasty, of good quality and competitively priced in comparison to other nearby establishments. I am basing my ultimate star rating on value for money and the fact that I can directly attest to the satisfaction guarantee provided me by Sara who took care of me quickly and very kindly.

Traditional bakery, unfortunately no rumballs, which they were known for in the past.
