This was a great spot to go to for gelato however the price seem to have increased considerably since the spring time and the portions have gotten much smaller.
Decent gelato but way to expensive for such small portions. Worth the drive to Danforth for Kawartha lakes Creamery.
Soggy wet pastry on the chouix pastry of the chocolate eclair... Delivered in same package as Chocolate cake Slice which was a tiny slice... all mixed up with the wet eclair by the time it was delivered.
Enjoy their coffee and ice cream. Nice place for gathering.
My go to dessert place in this area for delish gelato with crepes. It gets packed over weekend but has best dessert for anytime. Me and my friends usually grab gelato, crepe and tea and coffee combination.
service terrible, owner creepy
We came here hoping to enjoy freshly squeezed juice, but unfortunately, it didn’t feel fresh. The juice seemed to have been prepared earlier in the morning and was simply poured from a carafe. When placing an order for around $30, we tried to pay with a $100 bill, but it was declined, which was a bit disappointing.
Despite this, we gave it another try because we really wanted fresh juice, but again we were let down. On a positive note, the lady serving the ice cream was very kind and pleasant.
Awesome experience. My relatives visiting are Brazilian and do not speak any English so I had to explain each flavour and what the options were for cone vs cup and how big it would be. They all tried two flavors and were not rushed. It was amazing gelato and great service. I would definitely return and recommend it for anyone looking for great gelato.
Ordered Gelato , Quality of flavour 2 out 5 Not top Quality Gelato …
Yummy ice cream and nice coffee!
The girl was rude, she was using her phone while I was ordering. Also she sounded and behaved drunk.

Oh where do I begin! The barista girl seemed focused on her phone, filming and taking photos of herself and showing off her nails to the other workers rather than serving my order and kept giving me attitude when I asked her what was available. Also why are the staff not wearing hair nets? This is a genuine concern, as what happens if hair falls into a customer's coffee? Not to overreact but as someone who had lice before, this is not very hygienic at all, and if hair falls out, it could contaminate a customer's order, and someone could seriously get sick or worse. As far as I was last aware, health regulations mandate that baristas should be wearing hair nets. I mean come on, if you are going to run an ice cream shop, you need to at the very least have some hygiene and polite civilized behavior to your customers.
You know, this spot used to be my favorite ice cream shop in the city when I lived in Toronto. The baristas were friendly, I would always tip, and the place was more hygienic. Its horrible that its fallen off since. I would not even think about tipping now, especially to someone with such attitude and lack of care for their own job, who was also so obviously intoxicated.
Completely unprofessional, felt like a different shop completely compared to 5 years ago.
Very disappointed with Ice n Cake. The quality of their ice cream has gone downhill—portions are much smaller, the toppings are fewer, and the taste isn’t what it used to be. On top of that, the prices have gone up, which makes it feel like you’re paying more for less. Definitely not worth it anymore.
Limited flavors, overpriced, the people working there were more interested in being on their phone then taking my order. Not impressed.
Ice cream filling staffs not friendly
The Ferrero Rocher ice cream was amazing!
