I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant during Ramadan.
They advertise and promote Ramadan iftar, which would normally suggest that Muslim customers are welcomed and considered. However, when it came to something very basic, a place to perform a quick Maghrib prayer, the restaurant showed no respect or accommodation.
I politely asked the manager if I could briefly use an empty isolated area inside the restaurant to pray on my own prayer mat. The request would have taken only a few minutes and would not have disturbed anyone. Unfortunately, the manager rejected the request in a very dismissive way and did not even attempt to handle the situation respectfully.
What made this experience even more frustrating is that other buffet restaurants in Toronto, such as Mandrain, do not even advertise iftar, yet they still demonstrate inclusivity and respect for their customers. When I asked there if I could pray, they kindly accommodated the request without hesitation.
At this restaurant, however, I ended up having to perform my prayer outside in the rain, which was both uncomfortable and disappointing, especially during a time like Ramadan when hospitality and respect are expected.
If you are going to promote Ramadan iftar, it would be reasonable to show basic respect and understanding for Muslim customers as well.
To be honest, the food was perfect and the serving staff were very welcoming and professional.

Lamb and fish are a nice feature. Fried/baked vegetables are unique for a buffet as well. Service was outstanding. Price at lunch was reasonable considering the quality of food. Went on a Saturday. It was not as busy as expected, and did not need a reservation.

Honest review of this place I went for the buffet but the food was either cold or has no seasoning. And honestly the worst part was a 15% tip that is mandatory and you are not informed of it prior to sitting down nor is it posted anywhere

I had my mom’s surprise 80th party 3 weeks ago and our server /manager Hassan was very friendly, professional, helpful and attentive to all our requests. It was the best surprise for my mom as all my family gathered . I think we were more than 32 ppl. He made sure we have a big space allocated and it was hidden in away that when my mom first entered the place , she wouldn’t see all ! Just perfect . The food was great , service great and they even put together a nice small cake . I would definitely recommend this place . Wonderful management, called me before the event and making sure all ready in advance. I only would comment ; I found they have raw chopped onions in every thing in their buffet, salad mixes, different beans and other starters/sides . I think few options without onions would have been great or have chopped onions as an item alone in the buffet so ppl can add to their food if they like.

We absolutely love Jerusalem Restaurant! I’ve been going there since 2012 for many different events, and I have never once been disappointed. The buffet is incredible so much variety and everything is delicious. The atmosphere is truly unique, especially with the live entertainment and belly dancing, which makes every visit feel like a celebration. The service is amazing. Our server was wonderful, and the management team is always lovely and welcoming. You can really feel the care and professionalism. I highly recommend this place, especially for big gatherings, birthdays, and special events. It’s the perfect spot for a fun and memorable party experience!

Oh my where to start, atmosphere was awful, nothing changed in past 10yrs. Doesn't feel inviting, service was good. We went based on reviews, but these days they are all done by Ai.
Lets talk about food, it was disgusting, no flavor no choice for so called persian food. Cheap tilapia and basa fish, overly cooked calamari. Cook was slicing meat on a metal pan. Desserts were stale from day before service. $42 pp for crappie persian buffet. Waiter asked how was everything. I wasn't happy with quality of food. His answer was, he had lot of complaints from guests that food was awful here. This is coming from waiter. Wouldn't not recommend this place.

Haven't been here for almost 2 years. This time everything up a notch. I'll give it 4.7/5.0. Food are marvelous, their lamb, stuff chicken, seafood are amazing, Must try. The belly dance is way much better compared to the ones at downtown. I highly recommend this place.

It’s my favorite shawarma sandwich takeout place. They bake the flat bread on premises. Hands down best shawarma in town and they don’t skimp on the meat nor the fresh veggies they pile on. I usually get it with their tabouli salad which is also tasty. Only had the take out and never their sit down buffet in the dining room so I can only speak to the takeout. The staff is always friendly and nice.

The meal was delightful, and the staff exhibited exceptional friendliness and politeness. The pricing was also quite fair. It was a refreshing culinary experience. I had grown weary of Asian buffets, so this was a pleasant surprise. We visited on a Sunday evening and enjoyed the entertainment provided by a belly dancer. I eagerly anticipate my next visit. I also appreciated that the food was halal and would highly recommend this establishment.
