I want to try Original Jokbal again next time. As a meat lover, I would say they provide The Perfect Jokbal in Toronto. The side dishes were amazing as well. Also, eating Jokbal with beer is my favorite combination.

First time going here this month to celebrate our yearly anniversary with my boyfriend. The interior is really nice and calm unlike other Korean restaurants that play very loud music and are very crowded which I don't like. It is very close to Sheppard Yonge station and other amenities. The food was a 10/10 and they were very nice and greeted us like a family. We got the spicy jokbal and regular both are very delicious and tender! They also offer free refills for the sides and they offer free soup to which we didn't know was included! Also, we had the rice balls and they pair very well with the Jokbal. Will surely come back and try other items here. Highly recommend ?

Came here as a group of 3 and got the jokbal + bossam set. It was very tasty, though we wished they had some hot/gochujang dipping sauce options. With the addition of rice it was definitely enough to fill 3, and at a pretty decent price.

As tasty as the food was, my boyfriend and I got food poisoning after ordering the half and half. The place was noisy and I believe that most of the positive reviews here are due to a drink promotion that they have right now. As much as I wanted to support this new restaurant, I am very disappointed that we are now sick.

Cool jokbal (pigs feet) Korean soju bar. This dish is prepared by removing the bones and boiling it with spices. Tastes like a chewier version of pork belly. Quite delicious! Presently, they have an excellent special on soju (the most popular spirit in the world). Friendly and helpful staff too!
Went there for a reunion for my friends visiting Toronto. Heard nice words about Jokbal Night Market and was expecting a nice experience but it turned into a complete unexpected nightmare.Food: We ordered meat pancake and spicy bbq. All 3 of us were severely FOOD POISONED. We all got so sick that we had to cancel all the plans.Service: Server had very limited English skill and wasn’t able to answer questions about the menu.Atmosphere: Music was very, very loud. Almost had to shout to talk over the table.I hope this feedback prompts improvement to your food hygiene and quality control. If not, I hope this review at least can alert the customers and prevent them from going through a similar ordeal

I just wanted to share a quick recap of our holiday party. I decided to try something different this year and ordered the Spicy, Original, and Bosam dishes. Let me tell you, it was a fantastic decision!The food was an absolute hit at the party. People couldn't stop raving about the flavors and how unique each dish tasted. The Spicy option had just the right kick, the Original was a classic favorite, and the Bosam was a delightful surprise with its tender and succulent goodness.I'm so glad I went with this choice, and I'm already thinking about taking my family out for a special night at the same restaurant. It's safe to say that our holiday party was a big success thanks to these delicious dishes.

The restaurant is discriminatory when it comes to one person dining, even if you express that you will order a regular order to take home after. I was told to leave the restaurant after they found out I was alone. It is very unfortunate to experience that here in Canada. I went once before with a friend and the food was ok but not worth the discriminatory treatment. The customer should have an opportunity to choose to stay and pay for a minimum spent amount and/or a certain time frame for seating if sales is a concern.
