My in-laws recently purchased rice cake slices (tteokguk tteok) from Jongro Food Tteokjip (종로푸드 떡집), located inside Oakville Galleria. Shockingly, they found a mysterious hair embedded in the product. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened — I personally encountered the similar issue in the past and received a refund from the Galleria supermarket.
This repeated hygiene issue is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the store’s food safety standards. A business handling fresh food products must maintain strict cleanliness and quality control.
Since this is clearly not an isolated incident, I am leaving this review on Google to inform other customers. I strongly urge that Jongro Food Tteokjip undergo a thorough health and safety inspection. Food safety is not optional — it is essential.

Songpyeon was so delicious☺️ I bought it at Galleria.I went back to buy it and it wasn't there There were almost no white songpyeon, but all colored songpyeon.It’s pretty, tastes good, and has a lot of filling!

I bought songpyeon at the Galleria Supermarket today. The white and pink color is a bit runny.It seems Jongno Tteokjip is very busy today.
