I had omakase lunch here for the first time two year ago and it was fantastic! All the fish was very fresh, and the rice was cooked to the perfect texture and temperature. It was definitely great value for money (and the price was very reasonable!). This year, I booked the same omakase lunch. The fish was okay, but the rice wasn't soft and sticky enough; it was dry and hard, and some of the rice wasn't served at the ideal temperature. My friend and I didn't even want to come back. This restaurant is currently closed. If it reopens in December, I hope the quality will be better (at least back to the quality it was when it first opened). I might give it another chance in the future.

An absolute gem of an omakase experience. For $98, the omakase menu felt like an incredible deal — not only was it affordable compared to many other spots, but it also fed us well without ever skimping on quality.
The bar was small and intimate, with a sleek, simple and fancy design that makes the experience feel personal.
Every dish we tried was fresh, beautifully presented and delicious.
The chef and servers were nice and helpful.
If you’re looking for an approachable omakase that doesn’t compromise on flavor, freshness, or atmosphere, Jumo Gozen Bar is a must-visit. They also have a unique bar menu! Worth the try!

Went for lunch omakase with my bf for his birthday and Chef Eaton had everything lined up in front of us. My fav was the Greek Seabass and Hokkaido Scallop. Very cozy spot, good for intimate event, as this place can only sit 10 at a time. Hidden gem across Fairview Mall. Would love to go back, not only for their Omakase menu but for their Gozen menu..which is currently unavailable...Also saw Eaton prepare a couple of takeout boxes, it looks very lovely and equally delicious, definitely will try it (available on Ubereats).

Had Lunch Omakase at Jumi Gozen Bar and was not disappointed!
We enjoyed excellent sushi pieces (upgraded to premium nigiri) and smooth sake.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, not pretentious but still classy. Just the right amount of food for lunch.
Very enjoyable experience at a very affordable price point for an Omakase meal.

We came to Jumi to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were lucky because we got to try this experience in private as there were no other bookings at the time of our reservation. We got the melty lychee drink and the sake sangria, both of which were good. I think the lychee drink should have been served with smaller ice cubes so that the ice could melt a little as you drank it because it was quite thick. We upgraded to the premium menu. The chef told us about each type of fish and the region of Japan where it comes from as he was serving us. He also answered any questions we asked about the food. The washrooms were REALLY nice and were stocked with mouthwash, Qtips and floss in addition to the usual tp and paper towel.

10/10 recommend, and would definitely return.
Having just come back from a trip to Japan, I thought I might want to wait a little longer before eating sushi, and going to an omakase at that. Little did I know that this experience would prove me wrong so quickly. Chef Lam was so meticulous when preparing each piece and we were having a great time chatting, drinking and watching him put so much care and attention into the presentation. The fish was so fresh and buttery, personally, I loved the white fish nigiri and torched salmon the most. The sake sangria may be a little strong for some but very good nonetheless.
Street parking is limited so another option is to use the building parking around the corner - make sure to use the visitor parking.

A hidden gem! Blue fin tuna nigiri and hand roll are very tasty. Also had wagyu with fois gras, which is out of this world.
Free parking nearby. The wait time was minimal and the experience was excellent. Highly recommend sitting directly across from the chef, as not all seats are next to where the chef works.

For the price, it was a great experience. Obviously it's not going to match the quality of 200 dollar omakase, but I think it was a great meal for the price. I would come back.
