From the moment you walk into Kabalen, you know you’re in for something special. The restaurant captures the soul of Filipino dining with its kamayan (“eat with your hands”) feast, served on bright banana leaves for a communal, hands-on experience.

We love this place! Awesome food and super friendly silang lahat! We’ve become regulars there. Sina Ate Marv, Sai, Clau, the gentleman with his new shiny Nike, the guard, the servers, Domz, etc are all super kadooper bait! They even call my wife “Ate Ganda” and me as “Kuya Pogs” as a consolation. We just love going to this place!

This restaurant hits my food trinity: delicious dishes, spotless space, and unbeatable value. Dining in is an experience on its own, with warm hospitality that makes you feel at home. Truly a must-try Filipino spot in Toronto!
