The inside of waffle is filled with sweet red bean until the tip of the fish waffle! But not crazy amounts filling that kept the outside golden crisp🤤🧡

The two ladies that work here made me lose faith in humanity. Just makes me sad that they feel okay treating people with such horrible attitude. I get that we all have bad days but reading the reviews, it seems like it’s a normal thing for these people? Maybe don’t work in the service industry if you’re having issues with the no.1 important thing that comes with the job? Yelling and screaming like elementary school bullies is not cool.

I ordered 2 odens for my girl and me and they gave 2 odens in ONE cup having arond 30 ml soup LOL💀The soup was literally just soy sauce mixed with water, like plain soy sauce water. It was wild! 😂
A couple ordered two oden, but they only filled one-third of the paper cups with oden soup and instead of giving them two cups, they gave them only one cup. The soup was very salty and tasteless, like it was just plain water mixed with soy sauce, so why bother?

food is good just extremely cold. been there 3 times food was cold 2/3. its not bad food and its fast n convenient just wish it was warmer n better. server is also a bit mean and obnoxious. doesnt even listen to what im ordering and have to repeat myself 2-3 times.

I've been here about three times now. The first visit was good, the food was tasty and convenient for a quick snack. We decided to return, but the food was cold. They hand you the food right when you pay, so it’s clear it’s been sitting out for a while. They could at least get a heating lamp so the food can be kept warm. The cold food made it taste bland and unappetizing. We tried again, thinking it might have just been an off day, but the food was still cold. If you like your food hot or at least warm, this place isn’t ideal. I won’t be coming back.
The fishes are tasty again. Hot, no longer Luke warm and red beans filled all the way. Each bite is great again!

It's nice that Kim's A La Cart exists because there aren't any other food carts in Toronto that sell Asian street food. Kim A La Cart sells a wide variety of Korean street food, such as red bean and custard waffles shaped like fish, spicy rice cakes, pork belly skewers and fish cake soup. The prices are affordable and the food is served quickly. Seating is not available but the cart is a short walk from Mel Lastman Square park, where you can find picnic tables.

I got a custard waffle fish and beef dumplings, both of which were great lil snacks.
