Vegetarian options: There are no meat ramen options. Not sure if the noodle soup broth is made with beef/chicken to give it's favour profile.
Kid-friendliness: My kids love the ramen here. We usually order extra side noodles to upsize the ramen and share with them.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs to get in and no stairs within the restaurant.

Amazing food and amazing service! We came less than an hour before closing at a desperate attempt to cure our hunger, and the staff was very sweet about it. We lost track of time and accidentally stayed until closing, and the staff were very kind! The food came quickly and hot, perfect for the cold weather. Kinton has great prices and a range of options to choose from. They also have a Presto deal that gives you free gyoza! Overall a great experience with a great atmosphere.

I had mostly given up on Kinton as a chain after some really bad to mediocre food at the locations outside of the city. This location redeems them. Great service, and pretty good ramen. Slight miss that veggies and meat toppings are served cold. Even after a brief mix a mouth full of cold (fully cooked) pork is not the best. But still would return better the overall ramen is well done.

On hostess recommendation, went for maximum-flavour beef spicy ramen with fancy saffronlike filaments (they weren't, but chilli) and a mean paste of raw garlic. And sinus-flossing spicy it was, right down to the ramen slogan at the bottom of the inverted cone bowl. And an hour on, there's no MSG-inspired thirst. Yet two glasses of water couldn't extinguish the heat. A donated gyoza from my party helped put it out amidst the hiccoughs and bloat. Yeah TMI, but a little sweet thing with the hottest fare would've been, well, sweet.
Atmosphere was nice until they started moving furniture around 10pm. By dragging. It was a challenge to talk over.

Minton Ramen never disappoints. This location is very clean, and has friendly staff who go above and beyond for customers.
Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions of any kind let the server know. They are very diligent.

food is ok, seated quickly but spent 30 minutes waiting for 3 ramen. The place isn't close to even half full, 5 tables.
They offer free ice cream to compensate for our wait but time isn't something that can be compensated.
Highly recommended to specify that any food that's ready should be brought to the table ASAP without waiting for the rest of the order.

I don't know what other reviews was talking about the flavorless and portions are small here. I find it the opposite! It was so flavorful and the portion was big enough I almost didn't finish it. I ordered the spicy garlic pork and it was bomb. I usually has Kinton on Bloor but this one was definitely better. In terms of flavor and the service. Our waitresses were so nice, Shelley and Aki (I think ?) they were so friendly towards our kids and helpful. I would say this brand has the next flavor and service!

It was my first time at Kinton Ramen, and I really enjoyed the experience! The ramen was flavorful and hit the spot. The staff was friendly and welcoming, especially Shelly, who kindly accommodated my special request on the ramen. She was fantastic and definitely deserves a raise! ? Overall, it was a great visit. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that there's always room for improvement (I guess the quantity), but I will definitely be back!
