Came here with some friends and I ordered the matcha bingsu and it was delicious. It had strong matcha flavors and the mochi was nice and soft. I was expecting it just to have shaved ice underneath the toppings but to my surprise there was a good amount of sweet syrup on the bottom. I think the syrup was condensed milk. The shaved ice was soft and fluffy. It melted in my mouth instantly. The place felt nice and cozy and the owner was super nice. The price is a little expensive for the size but the quality is there. This place only takes debit or cash.

Bingsu(shaved ice) was good, but it was a bit expensive. I highly recommend the Mango Bingsu. Finding a seat for more than 4 people will be difficult.

I went to ask if I can have takeout bingsu and the lady was so sweet and prepared me an injeolmi bingsu and it was the best thing ever! It didn’t even melt till I got home.

This has been my favourite dessert place in North York for a while. I’ve never had problems ordering over the minimum order rule nor heard of it so I can’t comment on that but they have the best cinnamon brick toast and mango bingsu here! The owner is a very lovely lady who wished for us to keep warm when we left past closing hour on a snow night.

I've read a couple bad reviews on here speaking to the customer service. I just want to say that in no way at all did I have this sort of negative experience. When my family (with 2 small children) went this past weekend, we were treated so kindly. The owner was attentive and very kind. The real reason we will be coming back is the Bingsu. This is the best we've ever had. We ordered the Triple Mix. It was loaded with delicious fruit. The shaved ice was made so well, and both my wife and I were craving more when we got home that same evening.Don't let a few bad reviews stop you from experiencing the absolutely amazing Bingsu here at least once! It is completely worth it!

Despite the hours of operations stating that this place is open until 11 pm, I came here at 9:55 pm and it was closed. Its also very difficult to find.

I've been to this cafe twice in the past year and really really love their bingsu. The injeolmi and mango flavoured bingsus are delicious and they are quite generous with their toppings. The actual shaved ice is fluffy and creamy and doesn't feel heavy at all. However, I could not agree more with how terrible the service is here. There is an order minimum - for three people you have to order a minimum of 2 bingsus or 3 drinks. I understand the point of this rule but nowhere was this stated on the door or menu. The price per bingsu including tax and tip comes to about $20 which is a little bit on the higher end. I also asked for water for the three of us but they only brought ONE cup. I didn't bother asking for more. It wasn't very busy when we went but the person working there really did not care about providing good service at all even though we tipped quite fairly.I would def recommend if you like Korean bingsu but don't expect any good service. They play k-pop in the background and the ambiance is okay but not great.

The woman running this place is downright rude and needs to find an occupation that better suits her. Came in here with some relatives from out of town and wanted to start with one bingsu. The woman literally shook her head disapprovingly and rolled her eyes. I could understand the annoyance a little bit if the place was completely full and we were taking up a table; however we were literally the only ones there. The bingsu came and was about two-thirds the size of the ones made for the few customers that trickled in after us. We asked for some small bowls or cups and she again shook her head in disgust and rolled her eyes. This is a miserable establishment. Stick with Soul Cafe if you have a craving for bingsu. It's in a totally different class in all respects.
