My husband found this neighbourhood bakery on google and we were so impressed! We had delicious iced coffees and a variety of lovely pastries and cakes which impressed our dinner host that evening. Definitely try- you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent bakery and pastry shop in Toronto. The standout was the millefeulle and sour dough baguette. I will definitely be back.

Found my new favourite sourdough here—absolute perfection! What makes it special is the owner, who is so kind and happily explains their craft. You can taste the care and expertise in every bite. A true gem of a bakery.

If you’re craving an authentic Iranian-style omelet (Shakshuka), L’Avenue is the place to be. The freshly baked baguette and perfectly brewed Americano made it an outstanding breakfast experience.
Will I return? 💯 Absolutely! This spot has officially become my go-to, and I can’t wait to explore the rest of their menu.

Very cute French bakery in Toronto. We tried an assortment of pastries and sandwiches. Everything was top notch. Also, the owner and all the staff were so nice. As we were leaving the owner made a point to grab us and ask us about our experience. Then he gave us five free pastries! Such a great experience.

L’Avenue Boulangerie is hands-down one of the sweetest spots in Toronto. The moment you walk in, it smells like heaven, buttery croissants, fresh sourdough bread, and coffee all blending together. But honestly, what makes this place so special is the owner. You can tell how much love he puts into everything. He is always kind, welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. He gives you suggestions on what you may want to try, and has always given me a free croissant or baguette to take home.

The pastries are next-level. The croissants are perfectly flaky, the bread is fresh and crusty, and the desserts are unreal. Everything tastes like it came straight out of a little bakery in France.

It’s one of those places you keep coming back to, not just for the food but for the atmosphere.

I am going to be honest. The owners/staff is very discriminatory and dismissive to BIPOC communities. Please honour your communities? Just a heads up

Terrible customer service and rude attitude by the owner. We came at the café this morning with two friends at 10:30 am. We ordered café/tea and pastries. At 12:05pm the owner came to our table and told us to leave. He told us that we stayed 3 hours and this wasn’t Starbucks. We were shocked by his attitude and the fact that he was openly lying. We told him that we only stayed 1h30 minutes and not 3 hours but because of his rude attitude we were definitely leaving and not coming back. Instead of apologizing for his attitude, he showed us the video surveillance of his café taken at 9:30 am (unbelievable!!) to which we pointed him out that the customers in the surveillance were other people, not us. He then realized that he made a mistake. Yet again, he told us not to come back to his café. We left the café having hard time to process the unacceptable behaviour of the owner. Please do yourself a service, avoid this place. There are so many other nice coffee places in the neighborhood with respectful owners and staff.
