First and last time we ordered for pick up
We are pasta lovers and we wanted to try this restaurant that is close to our home. We ordered penne ala vodka and penne ala arrabiata , the taste was great , good meal proportions as well known from italian restaurant never disappoints, thats the thoughts right???
Well , not exactly!!! We understand the inflation situation but prices should match the proportions, so charging $25 cads for shrimp and calamari you expect a rational proportion right??
I think if you’re not able to do that , then low the price, because paying the amount for a half empty tray is not gonna sell.
We want to support local business as we love pasta and we have our favourites italian restaurants and for sure we know well the range in prices like Roccos, La vecchia, eden trattoria, scaddabush, Grazie and pizza e pazzi , prices match the proportions, just saying.
Amazing taste you wont be disappointed.

This was my first time at this restaurant. We've driven by it many times, and this was an opportunity to try it for my mom's birthday. We were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable pricing and the taste of the food was delicious. We ordered the fried calamari with shrimp, and being Italian, calamari has to be cooked a certain way. Well, these were delicious and hot! The server brought them out probably a few mins to them being cooked and I burned my mouth (in a good way). The entrees were veal marsala and the meat was so tender that you did not even need a knife to cut through. I would have liked to taste more marsala, but it was good nonetheless. We also appreciated that bread was served (as should most restaurants) without having to order it. The hot chili oil was literally hot! The atmosphere was nice, not to dark, light and airy. I wasn't expecting the space to be that big and it wraps around. We are definitely coming back again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at La Luce Restaurant for my son’s First Communion celebration! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect.
Carmelina, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure every detail was flawless. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made planning this special day so easy and enjoyable. She treated our event like it was her own family’s celebration, and it truly showed.
The food was nothing short of spectacular — every dish was beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted!
And the decor — wow! The setup for our party was unbelievably beautiful, more than I ever could have imagined. It felt elegant, festive, and so thoughtfully arranged. Every guest was amazed by the atmosphere Carmelina and her team created.
Thank you to Carmelina and everyone at La Luce Restaurant for making my son’s First Communion a day we will never forget. We will definitely be back for future celebrations!

Hidden Italian gem in Vaughn / North York.
New menu items every week, I'm not joking: everything on the menu is amazingly good at that place, just pick something and be amazed. If you're unsure: try the bechamel lasagna or their fire wood oven baked pizza (it's about $20 for a medium, but totally worth it).
The whole team is super nice: the one day I complimented the chef to the waiter for the amazing food, and the chef came to shake my hand. That's just how they are.
Front of the house Ricciardo is amazing guy! I'm not paid for this review, just a happy repeat customer.
Parking: If you can, come in from Norfinch, or Steeles eastbound.
