Came in yesterday around 4:30pm and ordered 2 macaroons to go. The guy working at the front was explaining the payment method and ASKED for at LEAST a 10% tip.

Gave him the tip and he messed up the order lol. We took it out of the bag to show him and he put it back into the macaroon display (which will be served to other customers later) and replaced it.

This has to be a food safety and sanitary issue…

I just went there today for macarons but the two staff there were not trained properly. They kept talking even when customers entered the store. No help was offered, I was in front of the counter browsing for a while and they still did not greet me. Laduree macarons were not cheap and I did not expect to get this kind of service.

I really enjoyed visiting Laduree. The food was delicious, the coffee could not be better, and Diego provided the best service.

The macarons I tried were good, but nothing spectacular. I ordered a pistachio and a Marie-Antoinette for takeaway. I was excited to try this place, but the unwelcoming atmosphere was a huge letdown. I saw four servers/cashiers, and not a single one greeted me—they just stared. I stood waiting at the counter while two of them casually chatted and the other two seemed preoccupied with their own tasks. I was about to leave when the cashier finally turned around and said she'd help me in a minute. It's quite interesting how it takes four people to serve no one. Won't be returning.

Rose Latte and double espresso with croissant. $18 with $2 tip.

My wife wanted to go here because it reminded her of a cake. The pretty pinks and greens. The macaroons stacked in pyramids. The $75 High Tea for 2 people. All of these things made for a light and comfortable atmosphere.

Having a French waiter made the experience even better when he said 'croissant' with his accent.

The Rose Latte had pink rose petal toppings on pink milk foam. The smell of roses was there. When I ate the petals it tasted like popporri and left an oily feel to the mouth. The latte smelt like roses. My wife liked it alot.

I would have liked a mocha but this was a place for dainty females where the men can dote on them.

Absolute worst location. Ordered a croissant, waited 20 minutes then asked the server where the croissant is. She rolled her eyes and said you never ordered one. And then proceeded to roll her eyes and gossip about our table INFRONT OF US! Overall such an unnecessary unpleasant experience.

Quaint and welcome escape from shopping in "Canada's premier shopping mall", Yorkdale, although we did not go there for the shopping - just the tea. The price we paid was for two people, and so was the food - about half per person of what you get in a 'proper' tea. But the glass of champagne and the couple of items we added at extra cost made up for it, and overall it was still good value. Quiet too, which we liked, and the service was prompt but unobtrusive, which we also liked. The teas we chose were French, not English, although still based on black tea; the flavours though were clearly French, very floral and sweet (not to be confused with sugary), and they needed no milk or cream. Overall a very pleasant experience; we would go again.

Delicious food and fun for a special occasion if you don't mind subpar service and noise from the mall.

We were seated on time for our 12:15 reservations. No one came to us until 1:00. It wasn't even that busy. Couldn't even make eye contact with anyone.

The shop is cute and pretty, and the macarons and pastries are delicious, but the service did not live up to its name. The customer service was unfriendly, slow, and not attentive at all.

We came in for a birthday celebration last week and unfortunately, I'm so sorry to say, the experience was terrible overall. The service was terrible. There were only 2 tables, 4 customers at the time and between 3 people working we waited so long for everything. Server had no knowledge of anything he was serving to us. I asked for the menu again to understand what the savory options and desserts were. He took 15 minutes AFTER the high tea tower arrived to bring us plates to eat on. Stayed in the back the entire time. Realized after I was also charged for 2 extra macarons. A table arrived next to us and these 2 women ordered 2 coffees that took 30 minutes to arrive to their table and arrived to them wrong. They looked at us in disbelief and we felt bad but could relate to their experience. They were smart, got up and walked out really disappointed. They wished us luck.

This French coffee shop offers the best macarons I’ve ever tasted—perfectly crisp on the outside, with a soft, flavorful center. A must-visit for macaron lovers!”
