Terrible customer service. I ordered the 5 doubles special and they only gave me 5. I went back to complain and they said they couldn’t help and kept referring me to the store manager. Been a loyal customer for some time, definitely will not return

The food used to be better. I keep finding hair in my food. Once, I understand but more than that is ridiculous. You're charging people and there is hair in the food. Do the chef's even wear hair nets. Disgusting. Hygiene needs to be #1 when having a restaurant. I guess it's at the bottom of the list for Lena's.

I've read through a lot of these low reviews.I definitely cant agree with them.I've been buying at this location for 4 years and I could tell when the cook changed because the curry immediately tasted better.We recently had the veggie platter,lamb add on,bone in chicken roti,smoke herring pie,goat add on.Everything was amazing,and I had food to take home for later.This place is always clean,food is well prepared I have never had an upset stomach or bad feeling from this place.To the owners keep up the GREAT work.This is just how grannies used to make it back in Trinidad????

Never returning, shrinking portion sizes, taste & unpleasant staff. My first visit was amazing, food was great and staff was nice. Second visit the portion size and taste went down a bit but still good enough.
The third visit the bowl was extremely small and the chicken portion was diluted with a large amount of potatoes and peas, which they have never done, we were told if we wanted more chicken like the first two times, we’d now have to buy another portion with just chicken even though their menu does not say that potato or peas are included and we have NEVER gotten potato or peas mixed with the chicken. I showed the waitress the pictures and even a picture of our last few receipts and she simply did not care.
My first review was glowing because I thought I’d found a place to come to for Trini food but I’ve just been consistently disappointed by the shrinking portions and upsetting service.

First time walking in. Pretty girl at front helped me pick out the roti and double for me. Food was amazing, service was great along with a great smile. They should keep it open late. I’ll definitely be back at night time when I crave some spicy weather Indian food.

Maybe i have been out of the caribbean too long. My bodi had more seasoning than bodi and it was wet with gravy (water). I did not like the same seasoning in both spinach and bodi. Bodi needs to be cooked dry to avoid tasting like boiled string beans. Just my opinion. Did not like much. The Baigan was worse. Who puts citrus in baigan choka? The lemony flavour was so strong it was not edible. I tried adding sugar to cut the lemon flavour, it helped but not much. The spinach was okay. I guess maybe the coconut milk cut the flavour and pepper out. But it is still in the good range. The daal puri and paratha were excellent. Better than most places. They deserve respect for that. The sada roti looked like it came out of a machine made for naan. One side was thick and the other was thin. And it tasted like it came out of a machine. That kind of raw taste that the roti was not seared on the fire. 1 star each for daalpuri and paratha. Yeah.

Food is decent here. - However, incredibly slow service in the morning. Ordered a few chicken roti and I had to wait 30 minutes. Was bringing this for a colleague party and I was late :(
A lady had preordered food and agreed with the restaurant to a specific pickup time - they made her wait an additional 25 minutes. She was very mad as she was bringing in food for her colleagues and was also late returning back ?
