Machi Machi North York is THE cutest spot everrr 💖 From the aesthetic setup to the adorable seating and Photo Booth moments, it’s a full-on vibe!! We had the mochi redbean brulee matcha (literally tastes like a cozy hug 🥹), the mango matcha (sweet + earthy perfection), and the mango slush (summer in a cup 🍹). Such a cute place to chill, sip and snap!

Machi Machi in North York is such a hidden gem!! 💕 The setup is sooo cute with the dreamiest seating and even a lil Photo Booth for extra pics 🫶 We tried the mochi redbean brulee matcha (so creamy omg), the mango matcha (matcha + mango = heaven 💚💛), and the mango slush (so refreshing!). Perfect vibes, 10/10 cuteness!! 📸✨

I am not a stranger to this store's staff, I come here to buy drinks very often, Usually, the Vietnamese girl serves very well, but tonight I had a horrible experience when I was served by a strange staff member (she was very young, wearing heavy makeup and eyelashes). I ordered 2 drinks, a strawberry and milk tea. Still, my milk tea was very bad because the pearls were too hard, I just told the staff that the pearls were too hard, she immediately told me that the drink was made and could not be returned without an apology, even though I never asked for a return, I was very angry and asked to meet the store manager, she told me there was no manager, I asked for the store manager's phone number, she said she didn't have one, I wondered what this meant??? Does the owner of the store hire employees to do whatever they want? I left the shop but was very upset, I called the shop hoping to talk to the manager, Luckily the Vietnamese employee answered the phone, and I explained the story to her, She told me to come back to get my money back. Through this story, I suggested to the shop owner that they should train their staff to serve well before contacting customers, because in this competitive era there are millions of tea shops operating, customer service is one of the most important things, before ending I did not forget to thank the Vietnamese employee for helping me get justice.

The creme brulee milk tea is so good

Great selection and the panna Cotta bottle drinks are very good. There's also seating nearby which is pretty empty after the other businesses are closed. Just a bit too pricey for me to go back often but taste is good.

We ordered their famous drink, the crème brûlée bubble tea, and it was amazing. I forgot to mix it before drinking, and once I did halfway through, it tasted a thousand times better. When we first walked into the store, there was a strange smell that made it a bit hard to stay in, but after a few minutes, we got used to it. I’m not sure where the smell came from, but regardless, we loved our drinks and I can’t wait to go back and order it again.

The female staff was very nice, and I don't know who made my drink but it was delicious.

I had a good experience at Machi Machi, Their drinks are creative and absolutely delicious. I tried gold pearl Black Milk Tea, and it was perfectly creamy.

The shop has a cozy, minimalist vibe, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Although the prices are a bit higher than average, the quality and unique presentation make it worth it. Definitely a must-visit spot for bubble tea lovers in Toronto!

**Chic, Indulgent, and Worth a Try—But Not Exactly Kid-Friendly**

Machi Machi is perfect for those with a taste for the refined and a love of all things aesthetically pleasing. I ordered the **matcha red bean drink**, which was absolutely delightful, complete with **three perfectly chewy rice mochi on a stick**—a charming touch. The **mango drink** was also delicious, though my little ones were hoping for something simpler. Unfortunately, a basic mango option wasn’t on the menu, making this spot better suited for those who appreciate a more elevated drink experience.

The location itself is inside a **shared space with other restaurants**, which gives it an eclectic atmosphere. However, **it’s not stroller-friendly**, thanks to the steps inside, and **I didn’t see any high chairs**, so parents of young children may find it less than ideal.

Now, let’s talk numbers. **Nearly $20 for two drinks**? A little indulgent, but for those who appreciate quality and creativity in their beverages, it’s worth trying at least once. If you’re looking for a simple juice box alternative for the kids, this isn’t the place. But if you enjoy a bit of luxury in your daily routine—consider it a must.

I am very disappointed with this purchase experience.
I bought six drinks and redeemed one of them.
However, I couldn’t earn any points in this purchase cause I did a redemption.
The staff (Kaitlyn) should inform the customer about this before he/she making any purchases!!
This encounter has left me feeling incredibly frustrated and unsatisfied.
I will never come back again.

I tried all of the Machi machi locations and this location is the best. They make drink 10/10. The strawberry slush always full cup even no foam not like other places, they will just give you half cup juice and half cup bubble LOL. The milk tea flavour is perfect, they also don't put a lot of ice like other locations. 1000000000 score

“I would like to raise a concern regarding my recent experience at your store. The waiting time was extremely long, and I noticed that the cashier was eating during work hours. When rushed by customers, she responded by laughing instead of apologizing or explaining the situation. This behavior is unprofessional, and I suggest providing additional customer service training to ensure better experiences in the future.”

This location is in a small food court with a shared seating space with two or three other vendors. It can get pretty busy every now and then.

I will say that the staff don't really have any sense of urgency to preparing customers' orders which does not help when it gets busy. I waited maybe 20 minutes for my order (Red bean brûlée Matcha Smoothie). When I followed up, they just took the drink from their kitchen counter so they already had it ready and just forgot about it which is frustrating. There was no acknowledgment of that mishap or apology either from the staff.

It feels like the staff are not really motivated and you're paying quite a bit for what you're getting, so I'd recommend trying a different location if anything.
