MADO - Shops at Don Mills

There were posters for discounted simit, and I wanted to try them. I imagine the simit tasted just like street simit; it's really hard to find similar ones here. But they were stale. If only there hadn't been a sale, I would have paid more to avoid stale simit. Simit tam Sokak Simiti AMA BAYATTI.

When I first walked in I was initially greeted by somebody behind the counter who was very lovely and she instructed me I could order from a server so I went outside sat down and waited and waited and waited and never was served. Waited 15 minutes and then I got up and left. The servers were out there too, but they were busy chatting and never acknowledged my presence or request requested if I needed anything. Very disappointing because I was going to order some of their new items to taste. I went down the block to another new restaurant who I will frequent on a regular basis. Disappointed

Second time trying simit…. The worst simit ever!
It was hard as a rock ! I complained still they charged me for that…!
Expensive 1 person breakfast, $16 for 1 egg and two pieces veg ! Even no bread with breakfast!
Not recommended at all !
It’s not Turkish breakfast, if you looking for Turkish breakfast try somewhere else!

We went there with my bf and his family, when we got to the patio no one asked us how many we were or guided us to a seat. We had a baby with us, no one offered to bring us a high chair. When the waiter (supposedly on training but he was by himself) finally approached us after asking for one many time, he said that he wasnt familiar with the menu ( we asked whats the difference between kunafa and kadayef, excuse the incorrect spelling) then he told is because we are 6, we would have to pay an added service charge, whilst we were 5 adults and and a year old baby. To top it off, we waited for 1 hour and 15 mins until one of us got up to go ask if at least our drinks were ready, then the other waiter apologized and finally let us know that drinks will come out shortly but our food order wasn’t available and that we had to choose something else. Really? After 1:15 mins of wait time with a baby who had to sit on our laps because no one offered or brought a high chair( even when we asked they said all high chairs are taken, THERE WERE ONLY 4-5 tables taken and no babies at all in the store). Extremely disappointed! I have always loved Mado and been their customer in other locations as well as this one. Never have I ever had an experience this terrible!!! Totally disappointed! Unacceptable service level!

Went there with my gf yesterday they have these buttons to call for service. Literally pressed it 4 times and waited for 20 mins no service. They didnt even check up on us. No water the waiters all sat in a corner and talked to each other. At least check up on us . Im guessing there buttons to call for service dont work at all. Terrible terrible service.
