This place is a go to spot for sushi around the finch and Weston area the stuff is super nice and the food is excellent I highly recommend this place if your looking for a good place for sushi

I come around 7pm to pickup doordash order and he said wait 5 min and after 10 min he said just cancel it if u do not wait what is hek here shame on ur service first learn how to talk with customer then open resaurant

I recently dined at Malado Restaurant, expecting the same excellent experience I’ve enjoyed over the past years, but this visit was quite disappointing. The food was mediocre at best, lacking the flavour and quality I’ve come to appreciate from this place.

The service was extremely poor and almost non-existent. It felt as if the restaurant prioritizes take-out orders (Uber Eats) over customers dining in. I was there for a special occasion, hoping for a delightful evening, but the inattentive service dampened the entire experience.

While I understand that every business faces challenges, especially with the increased demand for take-out services, it’s crucial to maintain a balance and not neglect in-house diners. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to the standards Malado Restaurant has set in the past.

I hope the management takes this feedback constructively and works on improving the dining experience for future patrons.

Food is just amazing but the lady who owns the restaurant harassed me in two opportunities for tips. I ordered online and when I got there to pick up the order, she goes “you are not going to give us any tips? That’s not nice at all”.
Money is tight for everybody, but she doesn’t have any rights to push people that way to get any tips.
That’s the rudest I’ve ever seen in my life.

A really good find that we stumbled across. Really cute little wooden benches inside, and the server was extremely nice. Very reasonable prices for great seafood, and excellent japchae. They were willing to do additions and substitutions, and delivered my request to make my food extremely spicy. However, the fried chicken was a little bit stale and bland. The side dishes were all really delicious and the portions were generous.
