Vegetarian options: We ordered Kadai paneer and naan ! For appetizers we ordered crispy cauliflower ( Gobi manchrian ) . And drinks were from Reem’s suggestion!

I recently visited this place, and while the ambience and service were good, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. I understand they’re catering to different cultures, but if you’re serving Indian-style food, it should have the authentic Indian taste—rich in spices and flavors.
I tried the Pav Bhaji Toast, which was just okay. However, the Veg Hakka Noodles and Butter Paneer Masala were disappointing. Both dishes were overly sweet, and the Butter Paneer Masala tasted more like tomato puree with extra sugar.
That said, the Garlic Naan was good.
This is my honest review. But I do plan to give it another shot and hope for a better experience next time!

Completely disappointed with Chicken Biryani .. It is probably the most expensive biryani in GTA , but , it is one of the worst biryani , I have ever had.. If biryani means uncooked rice mixed with boneless chicken gravy, this is the one.. Biryani not recommended.

Mantra remains a wonderful spot for high-quality Indian cuisine. However, one area for improvement is the quantity of drinks served. While the cocktails were creative and delicious, the portion sizes were smaller than expected. If you’re looking for bold flavors and a contemporary dining experience, it’s worth a visit!

Came here the other day after work with co-workers. The food and ambience is very nice, especially given that it is in the Don Mills Shoppes. However, I was very disappointed to learn that this restaurant serves Halal food. A member of our group couldn't eat any of the food because it is against her religion to consume Halal products. I and several others would have easily given this restaurant a 5 star rating if not for that.
I think Mantra should be catering to people of all backgrounds and beliefs so that anyone could be comfortable coming to their restaurant. We were disappointed that this is not the case.
The food was unique and the staff were super friendly and knowledgable great ambience, festive decor.

We went for Lunch today and the experience was amazing! The host Luv Sharma and his team are super friendly and make you extremely comfortable. The drinks and food served is mouth watering. Definitely recommend the Tandoori Momos, Lamb Chops as well as the Curries which are made to your taste! Definitely Recommend A Visit!!

I’ve had the pleasure of an annual Christmas with friends dinner here. The chef is amazing, the ambiance, the food, the service, all top notch. I certainly recommend this. Lobster was my favourite, so many other dishes that are just incredible. This is the place to be, don’t miss it just go!
