Food was so good! Came here with my mom yesterday and we loved the variety of curries and choices they have. We had the Lamb Rogan Josh and Delhi Chicken Curry. Very flavourful and good size servings. Servers were also Beverly helpful in explaining what some of the foods are like. Would’ve liked more beverage options though!
Will def be back for my next Indian Food craving!!

Delicious food. I had the butter chicken lunch bowl with naan, and my partner had the lamb seekh wrap with a chai tea - which wasn’t on the menu, but they were happy to make for her. Great place for lunch with a laid back atmosphere and excellent service. We will definitely come back again.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, and the service really stood out. Our server, Angel, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Angel’s positive attitude truly made our visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great evening. Very friendly hostess and prompt service.
We are vegetarian. Had Tomato soup and Haryali kabab for starters. Really well cooked and flavourful.
We also ordered the Jackfruit masala and Rose malai Kofta for mains alongside onion chilli roti and naan. Got a portion of veg biryani.
Breads and curries were awesome. Especially the onion chilli roti and jackfruit cooked to perfection.
Biryani could have been a little more spicy and flavourful but it was not bad. Raita was yummy.
Kachumbar salad was disappointing as it was more of diced carrots and cucumbers and very bland. Kachumbar should be like the name. Little more chopped with more vegetables and some masala and lime.
Overall a good first experience and will come back for the soup, appetiser and curries. One star less for biryani and salad.

That was one of the best Indian food I ever had. I highly recommend this store to everyone who wants to enjoy it and also their staff are very professional and positive.

The food was excellent and the service was good. However, the desserts were very disappointing. The kulfi tasted like condensed milk, as if someone was experimenting on customers. It didn’t resemble authentic kulfi at all. The tiramisu also did not look or taste like tiramisu. It seemed more like whipped cream mixed with saffron. And honestly, who puts saffron in tiramisu?

Food was very average, I’ve rated better chicken 65 and chaat in the most basic Indian restaurant. Service was lent good as they forgot my order so I was left having to wait 15 mins extra for my halibut. The lack of achaar and chilles and onions as sides in an Indian restaurant is deplorable.

If you are diabetic, the current menu could be challenging as many dishes lean heavily on sweetness. Offering less sugary options or adjusting the balance would make the experience more inclusive and enjoyable.
I also wouldn’t describe the food as particularly authentic. At this point, I might have better luck trying a few trusted Indian recipes from youtube, cooking at home and inviting friends over.
My search for truly balanced and high quality Indian cuisine in Toronto continues. This restaurant has potential, but the flavours and overall value don’t yet match the price point.

If you’re thinking of coming in person to get food from mantra, don’t. Just order online from uber, you literally pay $10 less for more food and quality. The kathal jackfruit is good but I don’t know what it is, the malai kofta was just not edible. The flavours were so unsettling that we threw it away. A few months ago, the taste was different and was actually flavourful. I’m disappointed by the quality of food they provided tonight.
