Marcelina's Filipino Cuisine and Karaoke Bar

We went here last night to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing.

As soon as we arrived, the older lady owner approached us in a confrontational way regarding microphones that had just been handed to us. We hadnt even done anything yet but we were immediately accused of something. It set a very uncomfortable tone for the rest of the evening. Honestly, the atmosphere felt off from the start and at the time, we were the only customers there, which now makes sense.

The food was okay, edible but nothing memorable. I also waited quite a while for my Mami order, and it never arrived.

When it was time to pay, we realized that gratuity had already been included in the bill. This wasn’t explained to us and as a result, we ended up tipping twice. I don’t mind tipping generously when service is excellent but in this case, the service simply didnt justify it. Transparency would have been appreciated.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since we were there to celebrate. I dont usually take the time to write negative reviews but this visit really left a bad impression. I won’t be returning, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously so others don’t have a similar experience.

The restaurant owner is very rude and unprofessional. She speaks harshly to customers and shows no respect. Instead of listening or helping, she immediately tells people to leave. His attitude makes the place uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

Horrible experience with the owner. I was with a big group of friends hoping to have a fun night and planning to spend all our winning prepaid cc worth 1000$. Got our first round of drinks and appetizer. Not even 20 mins being there, she approached us rudely and unprofessionally saying we didn’t order enough and if we don’t order we should go. We didn’t even got the chance to sing our first karaoke, Ante!
We could just ignore the unkempt place but the attitude of the old lady owner and her servers is so disgusting. Do not go there if you want to be disappointed Go across the streets, a bar called UDG, their hostesses are friendly, youngish and pretty. Same service but way better. They even give you dance lesson for free.

I dont know why this restau’s rating is lower than 4.0 but as a Filipino, their food hits all the spot. Tastes like home, portions are massive ❤️❤️

This is the absolute best freshest largest yummiest ever ! I guarantee you Wow !! The pancit is increadable . 10 out of 10

The lapaz batchoy, pork bbq, kilawin na pusit and crispy isaw is the reason why I'm keep coming back to this place.
I'm pretty disappointed with their pork sisig though,.

Amazing food, try out the Kare kare... Some of the best I got, prices are quite high, but the portions are huge and it's plenty for two persons. Will go again for sure !

Do not bother coming here! Came in to order take out. We were standing at the door for a good half hour and the wait staff just walked by and ignored us like we were not even there. Do yourself a favor and go some place else.

We went here on a Friday night and had to wait ~15mins for a table to free up. The pancit we ordered was flavorful. Service was a little slow and we had to follow up on our drinks order 3x since it was missed. Heads up- the bill already includes 10% service fee.

Went here last night. It was a Saturday night so we expected it to be busy. Reason why we wanted to dine here was because we wanted to sing in their karaoke. Wrote numbers and gave to staff but they never put it in the karaoke system. We noticed that it’s always the same people singing. Gave our numbers for the second time but staff ignored our request! The people beside us (left and right) were also getting annoyed, we brought it to their attention but nothing was done. My friend had to go to the front and reserved the songs HERSELF. Mind you, we did it because we were already waiting for 2 hours and yet our songs were never played since they did not reserve it at all!. No apologies heard from them. Overall the service was slow and unsatisfactory. If you want your saturday night to be ruined, don’t go here!

Atmosphere is good food is nice but the owner treat us bad as in she even want to throw as while we are still having fun because of the bucket of beer...
