Came in to order some chicken, poutine & a spicy big Mary sandwich. Everything was amazing- I was especially looking forward for the big Mary because it’s my favourite and I was excited for my bf to try.. but there was barely any sauce and the chicken in the sandwich was super overcooked and dry ?? it’s usually perfectly deep fried and juicy but it felt like as if it was forgotten in the fryer for a while. Really disappointed.

Celebrating National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day at Mary Brown’s was a treat, especially with the fantastic lineup of sandwiches available. The Dufferin location had a welcoming, casual vibe, with ample seating and free parking, making it easy to drop by and dig in. Ordering was quick, and the value of $6 for a sandwich and drink was a definite plus. Here’s a rundown of each sandwich I tried.

The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the food. Each dish was bursting with flavour and clearly prepared with the freshest ingredients. I tried the chicken wings and popcorn, which were cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of spices and textures.
