My bf ordered for us yesterday and l was so looking forward to it and so excited. Alas, not only did they forget okra and hot sauce that we paid extra for, the mussels were extremely hard and old-tasting, the corn had black spots and was not well-done either, we had to throw half of the portion out. The sauce wasn't good either, so disappointed. I was also queasy and sickly all evening after the mussels. Wanted to like a new place but not this time.

This is my first time trying Mermaids Find First off the customer service is remarkable not to mention the food???I love sea food and I must say the food was very impressive so much flavor and a generous portion.I got a shrimp dinner with potatoes, corn and veggie pasta on the side and two bubble teas for my daughter's mango with tapioca and strawberry with lychee jelly....I can't wait to try other items on the menu the prices are very reasonable...I will definitely be going back?

I was in love with the sauce. ?The salmon was covered by the sauce and it was soft to texture! Along with salmon, they have potatoes and corn on the side which makes the meal so balanced with carbs, veggies and some proteins. ?Shrimp Pasta ?This is definitely a must-try! Other than shrimp pasta, they also have a shrimp fried rice which also looked pretty good! ?But if you are a garlic lover, definitely give this a try, it’s so yummy and flavourful!?? Lychee Green Tea with Tapioca The lychee flavour was very strong and the tapiocas were just right! I forgot to order it half sugar so it was quite sweet for me! Chef is very rude and acts as if her being busy and overwhelmed with orders means customers concerns do not matter. Poor communication in that place. They want you to pay upfront online. Take 30+ minutes then let you know what you've ordered is sold out. Instead of offering a substitute item for the same price the tell you they are going to cancel the order because "they are too busy". I've been a customer since they opened years ago on lawrence west by red lobsters just to be treated this way. Not to mention the food quality had tremendously dropped since then. Was hoping to give them a try In high hopes. To add to that..... this was MY REVIEW, MY EXPERIENCE the responder underneath was not present when o spoke to the chef. The stories to not line up. Thank you. If your upset of my review, please do better for future customers. It's a learning tool.
