Came in during a late and freezing night with some friends since it was the closest place to go and we didnt want to freeze to death. This restaurant was the perfect place. Their soups were amazing and left a great impression. Even better was the warm atmosphere in the restaurant.

Down-to-earth establishment. I really liked the complimentary tea, and the squid main dish was tasty and filling. However, the owner initially told us they don’t do free refills of side dishes, which is strange because it’s pretty much a standard at Korean restaurants, at least in Toronto, to offer free refills when the plate is finished. He did eventually give me a free refill but a small change can go a long way to attract customers and encourage them to return.

They say don't roast bean sprouts because it's hard to wash the dishes.I can’t believe I heard something like this while eating pork belly..?!Wow...it's the best.“Don’t cook bean sprout with pork belly, because it is difficult to wash.”Korean BBQ, especially pork belly, people cook kimchi, garlic, bean sprout and lots of vegetables. However, the server stopped me cook bean sprout. Because it is hard to wash. HahaWow. What a good service.

I came here on a Saturday night, it wasn’t too busy and we didn’t have to wait for a table. The menu has lots of options! I had the Saturday special (soon doo boo with pork) and it was average. The pork wasn’t tasty but the soup was good and medium spice was a good level. There were about 4 different banchan dishes - my boyfriend liked the kimchi. I tried his gamja-tang and it was a lot tastier!
