Mr. Fish is a really special restaurant. Their food is consistently delicious and good value. I take out a lot from here and the food is always nicely packed in a beautiful custom take out bag. I highly recommend the Sauerkraut Pumpkin soup and the Black Vinegar Peanuts! Thanks Mr. Fish for being a staple in this area :-)

I went in Mr Fish in a late night!
Personally I liked the food I ordered. But I won’t say it’s the best fish restaurant I’ve tried. Mind you, I’ve tried quite a number, so I’m picky 😋 my friend didn’t like as much.

When I came in, there was a couple there. When I left, a few groups came in the restaurant. Mr. Fish is moderate in size so it won’t allow several big groups. I liked the decorations and cute setup. Customer service is great. Staff is polite and when I packed, server gave this adorable bag. Takeout package is great too.

In the dishes ordered, I liked their beef dish and cheese (or yam) balls. The fish wasn’t the best but it was alright.

If you pay cash, you will get 10% discount 😉parking can be tricky.

We got a lunch special for two; the serving was huge, and we got a spicy cucumber salad, beef shank, and rice! We also got some delicious, rich soy milk. It was all delightful, the golden pumpkin broth from the main dish was my favourite— savoury and wholesome. Luckily, we even had enough leftovers for another meal!

To top it all off, the waitress was super pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place and we will be returning.

I've been meaning to try this restaurant for some time. We came for an early dinner around 5 p.m., so we were the only customers. We ordered the signature golden broth (non-spicy version) to share among the three of us (you can choose three ingredients to add to it), and two appetizers: the cucumbers and the shredded chicken, both with the chili mala marinade. I thought the appetizers were really tasty. The fish broth was good; I've had better, but the option to have a purely non-spicy version is great for people who can't handle any heat at all. Overall, I enjoyed the food here. Price is reasonable. I would give 3.5 stars if I could give half stars.
