Got the oxtail and rice. The rice was dry and lacked flavor. Seriously how do you mess up rice? The oxtail was not tender and there was hardly any gravy. It was the blandest oxtail I've ever had. Freshness is not their strong point either. Never coming back

Since Philip is gone...The Original Mr Jerk Eglington ave West and then moved here...And the people are right...The food quality and portions have reduced...to be honest it will just stick to Jamaica Way on Trethewey and get nice jerk pork there...or go to Wendy at House of Jerk beside the racetrack.

My food was superb! It is so hard to find a place where they know how to prepare plantain but it was ripe and cooked to perfection. The curried chicken was also incredible. Service was one hundred percent. I will be visiting every time I am in the area because as I told the server since COVID it is so hard to find good Jamaican food.

I ordered the curry chicken. The portion was nice and large and the chicken was soft and tender. Could use a little more spice though but that’s just personal preference. Only thing is the lady who dished my food out was also accepting payments and didn’t wash her hands once. If you’re handling cash you need to wash your hands or wear gloves to serve food.

I am genuinely ready to give up on this place. Prior to the change in management years ago, the food was amazing, the service was amazing. When this place went under different management they started off great but have slowly started to give way less and charge more. The consistency is horrible. One day, you get food with authentic flavor and the next, you get watered down rice and peas, watered down curry goat, flavorless jerk pork, flavorless gravy. I dont understand how they can be so inconsistent when making the same foods everyday. The service is exceptional depending on the employee. Overall, I dont think I can continue eating here. I'm wasting money everytime. The only consistent thing here are the patties.

Terrible spot, I got a larger jerk chicken for almost $20 and she gave me 3 legs and a quarter of a breast and more rice than you will ever need for the amount of meat. Save your money and if you have time go dimes on Jane and finch to get your moneys worth.

Love this location! - Just left today 8/8/25 around 2:30PM Picked up a lunch special and side order of rice and peas. The Young lady that assisted me was so pleasant and efficient. Shout out the gentleman that was assisting the crazy lady ! - your level of patience deserves a standing ovation!!! Maybe even a trophy!!! Thank you again for another amazing lunch!!!

I honestly believe that many of the 👎 not good negative people who are disturbing peacefully environment ecosystem and also troubleshooting about the Owners of the Mr. Jerk Caribbean Restaurant Cuisines very good 👍 👌 that offer at the Mr. Jerk Delicious 😋 👌 properly prepared Foods whether it is Jerk Chicken 🐔 😋 and Rice and Peas 🫛, Steam Vegetables with cooked carrots 🥕 😋 😀 👌. The people that serve at the Mr. Jerk Caribbean Cuisine Islands 🏝 Foods are honestly kindhearted lovely smile on their faces with me for sure when I truly buy cooked food meals 😋 😀 from them each time from Tuesday to Saturday afternoon ofter 12:00PM to 7:00PM or 8:00PM. It is truly how busy they are truly each day with their family oriented mindset customers that particular day! I honestly like to get cooked food 😋 from the Mr. Jerk Caribbean Cuisine Islands 🏝 Restaurant near to Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West!
