Absolutely unacceptable experience at Mr. Sub on Victoria Park today. I ordered three subs, and the service was terrible from the start. The employee was scrunching the bottom of the lettuce container trying to get a tiny amount instead of opening a new bag. I actually had to ask him to open a fresh bag, which is completely unacceptable and showed a lack of care. On top of that, two of the buns were burnt, and the whole-wheat bread was stale. The food quality and service were both far below what anyone should expect. The only reason I didn’t go back to complain in person was because I was already at the other end of the city, and with the bad weather, I didn’t feel like driving back. That said, based on this experience, I will never return to this location and will definitely be warning family and friends to avoid it.

Day old bread fell apart in my hands.. The tomatoes are small and rotten. They make The sub's like garbage. They feed you old vegetables and days old bread. And I got sick from eating here.

Terrible. Ordered through drive thru and asked for whole wheat, said they didn’t have any and could give multigrain. I said that was fine. Get home, the multigrain is absolutely awful, it fell apart as soon as I tried to pick the sandwich up. I ended up having to put it on my own bread as the bread just literally crumbled. Do better.
Canada's best sub shop - this location is fantastic (most of their locations are well run) the sub makers did a great job and were very polite during my visit.
We should take it upon ourseves to support local and Canadian businesses. It is our responsibility as Canadian consumers full stop.

The Spicy Breaded Chicken Sub was equally amazing, with just the right amount of heat and a crispy, juicy chicken filling that made every bite irresistible.
The fresh toppings and warm, soft bread tied everything together perfectly. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back to try more from their menu. Highly recommend!
