We drove all the way from Hamilton to buy the pastries. Bought 4 kg. When we got home to try it. IT WAS ROTTEN. TAKES LIKE OLD ROTTEN MILK. BEEN THROWING UP SINCE. DO NOT BUY
I am absolutely speechless. I just tried one piece of baklava from Narin Pastry and it was a life-changing experience. It literally MELTS in your mouth! I was in Turkey last year and went to what is considered the best baklava spot in the country, and I can say without a doubt that this is just as good, if not better. The flakiness, the perfect sweetness, the quality... it's all there. My only wish is that this was a full-scale cafe or restaurant because if people knew how good this was, the place would be packed 24/7. I am now on a mission to try every single thing on their menu. A true, authentic gem!
I bought a few cookies and they were stale. The one with pistachios tasted bitter. Mabelle down the road sells fresher pastries
They offer a variety of fresh Turkish sweets!!!
Their meat borek upset my stomach. God knows what type of oil they use in their Borek.
As a longstanding customer of Naren Pastry, I’m deeply disappointed by their drastic decline in quality. On multiple occasions, they’ve sold stale, unacceptable products, and despite my repeated warnings, they show complete disregard for customer concerns, which is utterly unacceptable.
So they sale old product for price of fresh.
I was picking up some mix baklava again as usual amazing 👍
Delicious baklava and always the best service!
Very kind staff and very worm atmosphere !! The pastry is amazing too !!!
I bought different kind of cookies, kurabiye, simit and …
Except of Simit the others weren’t fresh, made by multiple times used oils and I literally waste my money.
I’ll never try there 👎👎👎👎

This is a hidden gem ...I tried their pastry ...baklava ....just to gauge how good they were.....
And it blew us out of our minds.....
Amazing stuff ...
The baklavas are super fresh, use quality products and are not too sweet. The attendant is really kind to and answered all our questions about the great selection they had.

I don’t know why I haven’t made a review years ago.
I was introduced by a coworker to this location and each time I ever visit to take out fresh baklava, I always say the same thing : has to be the best baklava I’ve ever had in my life.
Probably in Canada.
The baklava is always fresh, layers of flakey goodness and very dense and moist full of sweat juices with every bite. Definitely makes a mess when eating as it should.
Thank you staff.

I ordered dessert through the TooGoodToGo app.
Expensive, not tasty - too sweet, dry burnt, stale, tiny buns. They're all the same in the container called “surprise bag”. It is impossible to eat - just sugar. $8 for a small plastic container.
An unfriendly saleswoman.
The cafe is dirty.
At 8:30 pm it was full of sweets - no one would buy it before closing time and all this stale stuff would be sold at an expensive price the next day.
I do not recommend this Turkish eatery to anyone!

Best baclava outside the Middle East I’ve ever had. Get two boxes for sure, as one isn’t enough ;). You won’t regret it!
