The food might have been fine, but this restaurant’s complete disregard for legal tax laws is nothing short of appalling. It’s bad enough to be ignorant of basic legal requirements, but to outright refuse to comply when it’s pointed out? That’s not ignorance, that’s willful negligence.
Their so-called solution? Telling customers to take it up with the CRA to get their money back. Seriously? The audacity is mind-blowing. Expecting your patrons to clean up your legal mess over $10 is not only insulting but downright pathetic. My time is worth far more than dealing with this sham operation.
This place is a joke. If you can’t even manage to adhere to the bare minimum of legal standards, you shouldn’t be in business, period. I’ll never set foot here again, and I’ll make sure everyone I know stays far, far away. You don’t just lose customers this way, you ruin any shred of credibility your establishment might have had. Absolutely disgraceful.

Despite the tax break - they keep taxing their loyal customers- the break is meant for its guest and everyone absolutely everyone is complying with this. When I brought it to their attention the cashier said that the owner is waiting for the official memo - lol come one there ! I am not coming knowing I can dine in elsewhere and SAVE on taxes in similar places like Costa Verde

I generally recommend this restaurant just not during the GST/HST tax break. The food, portions and staff are great. My wife had a workplace Christmas dinner there. Everything was great until the bill came and it has GST/HST on it. When it was brought to the attention of the owner, the owner refused to remove it from the bill said that she paid taxes on her products and was not complying with the law. She told my wife to apply for GST reimbursement.

All the food was delicious in a warm, comfortable atmosphere, like at home, and the staff was very attentive and friendly.
Placed an order for TTC Christmas lunch at work. Food was amazing so delicious. We ordered chicken, rice, potatoes, salad, pasta with chicken which was amazing. I highly recommend this place. I will be visiting them soon to eat at their restaurant and try other dishes as their menu looks great!

So glad I stopped by here yesterday it saved me from making a big mistake elsewhere, the Lord works in mysterious ways. Anyhow the layout is amazing will definitely have to stop by again and try the food. Seems like they had a lot of staff in the back that’s good you rarely see busy restaurants on a weekday, don’t let the section I took a picture of from fool you there were alot of people eating and I hope they continue to do well
