This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. The Korean girl who served us seemed annoyed and do not want to answer any questions we had about their food and drink.

We are arranged to seat face to the door and it’s super cold. We asked to change a seat but she said all other tables are reserved, while it’s pretty empty at the moment. We closed the door by ourselves and the server reopen the door again?!

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. It felt like they didn’t care about their customers at all. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

I had it delivered through Uber Eats about three times.
At first, I ordered 'Yukhoe' without much expectation, but compared to other restaurants, it was good value for money, the quality of the raw meat, and the toppings such as pine nuts, cucumbers, sprouts, pears, and garlic were also excellent!!
Yesterday, I had 'Yukhoe' and 'Steamed Monkfish' delivered to me, and I was very proud that even my mother, who is a picky eater, 'praised' me that she had never had such delicious Braised Monkfish in Toronto~~?
Please continue to provide delicious and clean service without changing the chef in the future~~???

To be honest, the taste of the food is okay, but the price is on the high side. We ordered beef hot pot, double pancake, beef intestines, monkfish and beef tatar. But the service is very poor! I held up the empty plate and hoped that the waiter would take it away. She obviously saw it but ignored me and went straight into the kitchen. We sat at the seat closest to the front desk, but every time we needed help, we had to call the waiter many times. They would pretend not to hear and then ignore you. If you don't want to ruin your good mood, don't come here.

The food was mediocre, and the service was devastating.we waited over 20min for a raw hotpot even when there were only two tables . Poor taste for pancakes, monkfish and Mara hotpot, beef tartar was still frozen. Don’t waste ur money here. Btw, the servers won’t attend to ur table unless ask for the bill ?

The steamed whole pork belly with aged kimchi tastes amazing. It's so spicy. It's my style. I don't cook, but I always order Uber Eats. It's better than other places. I'll order it again!????

My recent experience with takeout from this restaurant was very disappointing. Firstly, the wait time was unbelievably long. I had to wait nearly 45 minutes to get my order. Such a long wait time is simply unacceptable. This experience left me very dissatisfied, and I don’t think I’ll be coming back here again. I hope the restaurant can improve this situation.

Review of Snowflake Makchang ?

Since I'm a long-time lover, I've tried Makchang here and there, and it's one of the best delicious places in Toronto. ?I like Heo Ga’s Makchang, so I was curious how it would be different! It's clearly different, but I can't explain it. It was chewy without any fishy taste! ?‍↔️ The clear difference is that I don’t have to cook it myself in front of the grill, and it’s neat and convenient to have it cooked!

Overall Review: It was my first time eating spicy makchang, and it went well with cheese! The size of the makchang was just right and it was sturdy. The sauce soaked in well. I think it's nice to have a bursta so I can keep eating it warm. When makchang hardens, it gets really tough!

Spicy: By Korean standards, it wasn't very spicy. If you are good at eating Toronto malatang, you can eat it without any burden.

Quantity: I think it makes 2.3 servings. It was too much for the two girls who came to eat, so we took it out, but it was really delicious the next morning when I warmed it up in the microwave and ate it? If you have any leftover, be sure to take it with you.

I ate rice balls and chives and the combination was great!
The bear ice is also really cute. Overall I was satisfied! ?

I've been eating packaged snowflake makchang often these days, and it's really, really delicious... … .. I tried a few other menu items and overall the dishes were delicious!! The portions are large, so I always have leftovers and eat them again the next day? Honestly, even though it's a bar, it's nice to go while eating. The owner was also friendly. I'll be going again soon?
