I was desperately looking for a kosher deli as I'm from LA and NYC and hadn't seen anything comparable to what I grew up with in Toronto and I didnt even know if it existed here. So I was in the neighborhood and googled Deli AND Pancers came up. It said 4.5 star so I thought i'd try. And I wasn't disappointed. YUM! The corned beef did not disappoint. The owners are lovely and very personable. Try it you'll like it!
Only able to get there two or three times-a-year. And lately not even that often. But honestly, it's worth it EVERY SINGLE TIME! There will always be someone who will try to copy them, but it's not the same. This is worth every bite. The chopped liver, the coleslaw, the potato salad and a Real warm Pastrami sandwich on FRESH soft RYE, with mustard is like reliving your youth. Take your time and enjoy a real treat.
