I had my lunch late last week at this location on Sheppard Ave E. My table and I had some Falafel and a couple other starters. In one our of starters there were maggots in the cheese and almost made me throw up.
The service was great, the restaurant is beautiful, if they could just ensure the food safety is kept up to standard and not serve things with maggots.

I’m very disappointed and disgusted by this chain of restaurants in the GTA. We used to love going there for breakfast and used to remind me of my heritage and the delicious food we used to eat. This branch on Sheppard/victoria park on Scarborough, in my opinion, is going to be destroyed since they don’t have any decent waiter or waitress ego has a clue about customer service. Absolutely disgusting service, didn’t speak English much nor did she speak Arabic. So we COULD’NT communicate in any way, shape or form. The food wasn’t up to its reiutstion anymore; the hummus was distasteful, the lebneh was a bit on the curdled side, the mountabel had no taste whatsoever. They brought one loaf of pita bread for 2 people. Are you kidding me? And we had to pay 40 dollars for this mess? Never again!. Anyways, we are not going to be part of that atmosphere anymore. They even stopped serving breakfast for years. So no foul anymore. Even the branch in Niagara Falls didn’t know what Foul is. This restaurant was….a past tense. Thanks paramount, and good bye. You won’t last long since you hire ppl who don’t have social cues or how to respect guests in your home.

We love this place. Very family friendly, kids love the indoor playground while parents can get some relax time. The food is out of this world. We had Makali plate and Veggie Lover plate. The baba ganoush is unmatched, amazing, freshly made. The spicy potato salad is just the best!
Our server Victoria has been very attentive with our large group and made sure all our orders were taken in properly.
