Went on opening day for the new location, was my first time too. Staff are so friendly and the food is delicious! This restaurant is on the pricey side so keep that in mind, but overall was a wonderful dining experience.

Not sure what happened but this place was our all time favourite and now the quality went way down!! We ordered the Appetizer platter which didn’t even come with the “garlic shrimp” as advertised. Everything was the same in different wrapping with no taste. The crispy sesame beef was $30 and had zero flavour. I told our waiter and he said sorry but don’t think he understood what we were saying. We won’t be coming back after this experience. $110 for 3 items and not worth it at.

Our food was very oily and we did not like all the noisy children seating next to us. Management should have spoken to the parents of these unruly children. Sorry but we won’t be coming back.

I’m here right now and feel total a rip off. They charge twice the amount for food that is clasless. Go to Yu Seafood if you are spending this kind of money on fine dining Chinese. This is not fine dining Chinese food. This is food court Chinese food. If you are from Markham, Scarborough or Richmond Hill like I am, this you will understand is utter garbage for the price. Don’t make the same mistake like I did. I’m referring to their new location at Bayview and York Mills.

Best DimSum in Toronto!!!! Location is fantastic with plenty of parking. Excellent service and food! A great place to go if you’re looking for a fun night with family and friends! Looking forward to going back soon!!! Highly recommend the signature hockey pucks and Peking duck!!!
Had a phenomenal dinner last night with old friends at the Pearl Bayview. Our waiter Sam, provided fantastic service and was very attentive and recommended a smorgasbord of dishes. We had a mix of dim sum and traditional Chinese fare and everything we tried was 10/10. Our favorites were the hockey pucks (perfect level of crispiness), the Shanghai Dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. This is my new go-to spot for Chinese food and there is so much more on the menu we need to try.Parking: Excellent parking lot!

Went back to the Pearl (for the second time lol) a week after opening in Bayview and York mills plaza for dim sum brunch. Happy to report that everything was top notch once again! The order was hockey pucks, soup dumplings, crispy shrimp rolls, steamed pork buns, har gow, pan fried chicken dumplings, bbq pork Chang fun, and Cantonese chow mein. ?I’ve been to all the Pearl locations now several times (it is my favourite Chinese / dim sum restaurant) and the quality at this location was excellent.I love the Pearl ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Parking: Tons of parking, conveniently located in a neighborhood plazaKid-friendliness: Lots of young children enjoying the food around us. Very kid friendly

We are longtime Pearl fans (have been going to the Harbourfront location for years) and were excited to try this new location since it’s close to my parents - it definitely lived up to the reputation. Food, service and ambiance were all outstanding. It’s some of the best / high-quality dim sum in the city, the staff are all super friendly and the room is beautiful with ample (free!) parking. Will definitely return to this location when I’m in the area!
